What we have learnt from the trials

* we have to play the whole 80mins, no late fade outs
* NRL needs a standard for broadcasting trials
* its going to be a rough start to the new season
* Fifitas need to be docked $500 for every penalty they give away

Jeez some people are blind.

Besides brown every individual looked good out there and our starting 17 looked the goods. Boys looked sharp, halves looked better, Maloney and Townsend linking up was sexual and barba has to be number 1 or I'll never ever stop hating on flanno.

More than enough positive signs. We rolled up the middle with ease, our kick in game was really strong and Maloney is gonna provide a massive difference with his goal kicking.

Happy with that, even though we should have won at the end then. Don't think that was a knock on either.

I got the feeling that both teams were setting themselves up for defensive drills sets.

Don't really have much at all to take away from this... good to see some footy but Bundaberg Cup quality from both sides.

Good to whet the appetite though.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

That starting a new thread is a complete waste of time.

Barba had that break halfway through second half. It looked promising seeing him in open field.

Totally agreed. We took quite a few players off in the 2nd half when the Tigers evened the game up.

Barba had that one great touch but then we defended for the rest of the half, hope his fullback credentials aren't hurt by that.

No idea why Mitch Brown was even in the side, but I hold him personally responsible for 12 points.

Bird looks ferocious at right centre, a partnership with Val just equals points.

Maloney just brings structure, it's great to see. Chad's kicking game really impressed me and I've never rated him at all

We lost plenty once we rested ennis, all good plenty showed (albeit rusty) promise of good things to come. Well done Chad plenty of nice touches and tackles. Not sure why fifs was carrying on even by his standard it was a ordinary attempt at playing the ball.
