Start him next week. Seriously. Get us on the front foot early, start him.

Time to start him. I’ve been reluctant to want to change what he does because it was working for him. But with the form he’s in coupled with Toby’s fitness issues and need of reduced minutes, I think its time.

One of the things that got me was him waving off the trainer when he had an issue with his leg. Wanted to stay out there and make sure we held the line.

Definitely proved he can handle a higher work load. That needs to be his role from now on.
Can he do that each week at the moment though? Neither of us know. We want all we can get without draining the well dry, fine balance.

Be great if we could give him more minutes with a decent share of possession too.

Only one way to find out. At the very least he should be getting around the 30 mark. Only got 20 or so the week before.
