Very good in his stint. Again I just cannot wrap my head around the fact that some people didnt have him in our best 17 for round 1.
I don't think I saw any with him outside. Except for the 'what I think Fitz will pick' sides.

Seemed to play pretty big minutes. Maybe down to Hunt's unfortunate night?

Pumped out about 40 which is around the same amount of minutes he was playing towards the backend of last year.

Seems like Fitzy has been steadily showing more and more faith in Tommy with the gradual increase in workload. I remember he was lucky to play for 20 when he first started making the side so it’s awesome to see him get rewarded for his efforts. Hoping he doesn’t settle for the role he’s in now and continues to push for something more.

If Uele was fit, I think he was a chance of 18th man.

Fitz loves Royce and Oregan.

Someone always seems to be injured or suspended - so will Fitz ever have to make the choice?

Plus full marks to him.
maybe that is a turning point in his career; where he set to make FG.
got to celebrate those ones and keep pushing forward
I think it’s those couple of tries last year, and just how much the crowd loves him. Most big bastards plod. He’s got a stadium cheering him on, if he plods the cheers stop.

I think he’s done enough to show his deserves a spot, and I think he’ll keep improving till he starts. With his unique frame and motor, he’ll play origin and for Australia for sure, if he keeps his head down and doesn’t start plodding.

Tommy was more reliable and effective than both of them last night

Not sure that's fair on Oregon. He was pretty solid.

Fitz hasn't been a one-game selector, so it'll be interesting to see how much faith he shows in Royce. Next man up is certainly Tommy

Yeah, Fitz likes to ease them into by the looks of things. He has his team, he’s got his guys pushing for spots, and his guys pushing for their spots.

With 0 injuries, I’m not sure we see much of Tommy, but he’s impressed so much with the chances he’s had that it’s impossible to keep him out now

Love him. He struggles with his size (and opposition holding him down) to get up and play the ball. He could've easily been penalised with one poor attempt to the play the ball.

Jack and Tom both played well above their normal minutes.

Imo Hunt being hooked twice was definitely a factor - but Cam, Toby and Dale all played less too.
