I might be in the minority but Happy to agree to disagree @Sir Chadley.WS, you’re looking for the conspiracy angle again.
Tom’s hit was not accidental. He hit him flush on the head. And I believe it was late. Yes, the player was falling but 100% accountability on Tom.
Shoulder charges whether blatant or not only have sin bin status if hit in the head. Which it wasn’t.
Like I said in my post yesterday you’re looking through Sharks glasses mate.
Hot song now. Imagine Alice playing to a Tay Tay crowd haha.Hot song back then
Yeah can't agree WS. After the pass and square on the chin.I might be in the minority but Happy to agree to disagree @Sir Chadley.
In my eyes, penalty yes, but wasn’t a sin bin.
Check out the time stamp (quick) and the Knights height (player dropping).
Tommy’s “open” hands (ie no fists like you see with the nasty ones).
Sending a guy to the bin there for that, just shows the sport is getting soft.
And I bet there were plenty similar that didn’t get picked up.
Yep. We'll agree to disagree WS.I might be in the minority but Happy to agree to disagree @Sir Chadley.

So you're saying it was intentional...?Tom’s hit was not accidental. He hit him flush on the head. And I believe it was late. Yes, the player was falling but 100% accountability on Tom.
and tonight was another exampleI might be in the minority but Happy to agree to disagree @Sir Chadley.

And when decisions go up to the bunker, the bunker seems to have the refs back.and tonight was another example
oh how the NRL is soooooo inconsistent
If you don’t like the decisions mate then go follow another sport. You’re constant bleating is just starting to become a bit annoying.and tonight was another example

But that’s what it was brought in for WS. I’m happy for the bunker to support the on field decision unless it’s obviously wrong. And when decisions go up to the bunker, the bunker seems to have the refs back.
Think crickets umpires decision, and they seem to look for any reason to side with the on field decision (even if the ball has obviously travelled backwards from the hands or it has clearly been touched/ forced etc etc etc).
They will only ever over turn howlers!
But it shouldn’t just be howlersBut that’s what it was brought in for WS. I’m happy for the bunker to support the on field decision unless it’s obviously wrong.
To be fair these are the sorts of things they should be able to be consistent with. You can cop a missed forward pass or knock on but when the game is stopped for foul play there's no excuse. Either the refs have to get it right or the rules and penalties need to be clearer. If you don’t like the decisions mate then go follow another sport. You’re constant bleating is just starting to become a bit annoying.
Yep. That’s how it used to be. Unless it’s obvious let’s get on with it.But it shouldn’t just be howlers
It should be any “incorrect decision”
So you are happy for the bunker to support a ball dropped backwards being called a knock on?
Cos that’s what happens
Not trying to be a dick.Yep. That’s how it used to be. Unless it’s obvious let’s get on with it.
With all due respect mate, just scroll past. The forum is a place for all to vent our often one eyed views on the team/performance. I think a game day thread is a fine place for these comments (I know this isn't that thread, but I'm just responding to you overall). It's also fine for people to question the consistency of two similar incidents. If you don’t like the decisions mate then go follow another sport. Yeah I know PS I could just scroll past. Just gets a bit much. I just don’t see the point in complaining about the refs ad nauseum. With all due respect mate, just scroll past. If it spills over into the many days after a game, I'd agree with you. But you're going to give yourself many a headache if you spend the season telling people not to complain about the refs. It's like yelling "they've been doing it all day" in the first set. Having a bias blow up is just part of the footy watching experience and usually speaks to the passion someone has.
All mates all sharks fans etc etc.
I get it, but when you're at the ground half the crowds always booing every ref decision against us. Sometimes in the moment it's hard to take off the goggles.Yeah I know PS I could just scroll past. Just gets a bit much. I just don’t see the point in complaining about the refs ad nauseum.
