Not a fan of the "she'll be right, mate." attitide, CHOGM? :glasses-cool:
Don't seem to be do I? LOL. It gets me fired up if you can't tell! Call me unaustralian but it's my least favourite thing about this country. It's fine if you're putting up a shed or fixing a fence, but too often it's just an excuse for mediocrity.

Can't disagree although I still have no idea what un-Australian means.

the wooden spoon isnt actually hurting, it should be a timely reminder to the club that they ****ed up in a lot of ways and a timely reminder that they need to be pro active, not pro crastinate in fixing things

I can't say we don't deserve it, as a club, we are an absolute joke. Our captain has achieved the goal he has ultimately desired, so he couldn't care less, our "star" prop signed to be somewhere else next yr, is only staying because the deal fell through. Our best player got himself sacked, and is still out dropping pingas every weekend. Nothing will change, and nothing will be learned.

I now remember how it felt in 09/10, when you get to the back end of the season, and you watch clubs who know how to play good football, you watch them with such envy, and wonder if you will ever see a Sharks team play like that. I have my doubts.

You'd like to think so but I can't see it happening. They'll believe Flanno coming back will magically fix everything.

If the players had half a brain (which judging by recent events they probably do not), they would use this experience of coming last in the premier league comp in the world as motivation to do an extra rep in the gym, run an extra lap of the oval, kick an extra 10 goals at training, catch an extra 10 bombs at training. Or for the simpletons, catch an extra 500 passes at training.

Are we going to do a parra and go back to back? Because that was a clear case of a one man band performing as such. Hayne didnt fire, Eels didnt win. We arent a one man band, Yoko broke us up, there is no band, there is no one person in this club that can steer the team. Theres a whole squad that should all look at every single game they played this year and look at the pro's (should only take a few minutes) and the cons, when they see the performances of our wins VS Brisbane and Roosters, that wasnt about desperation, they ran an extra metre on the hit up and they moved up in a line and attacked with their defence.

Every single bloke that plans on playing next season has work to do on their game, the wooden spoon isnt just about the fans pride as their mates put jabs on them, its about a team of players who were not good enough in a season of football. And that needs to be addressed

We deserve the spoon this year. Every week sharpe stayed at the helm was another step closer to the second drawer and there have been plenty of other factors too. I think we will improve next year but wont trouble the top 8. We just haven't got the personnel. We will at least finish above the raiders who be another year under sticky and without milford. With the apparent dearth of talented halves currently running around, junior recruitment and development needs to be a major focus. I just hole the arseclowns running the review realise this and act on it. Go sharks.

It amazes me people still to this day actually think this bloke supports the sharks

He supports himself acting like a fan who is a journalist who can get on with staffers to get inside info…..then uses it all against us. Should tie the **** to the goal posts and let Fifita get shoulder charge practice on him

He is a "Sharks Fan" so that he can play the devils advocate against the good guys at the Telegraph- Becky, Massoud etc.

It angers up the blood a lot more when people see a "sharks fan" at the paper when the others have given us a spray that the average punter get emotionally worked up about.

What an awesome analogy
