Honestly I loved our identity when were the villains, it suited us and it was reflected in how we bashed, toughed it out and belted teams with Flanno. No one else had that..Got brought up in the game day thread.
Was thinking about the "Sharks" brand, and thought, what makes the Sharks, the Sharks?
Are we battlers like the Rabbits? Are we snobs like the Roosters? Are we a family club like the Bulldogs? Are we wankers like the Dragons?
What are we? What makes us different, what is our identity?
The Bunnies aren't battlers mate
Why would we want our club to appeal to just one demographic?
and most opposition fans and media still hate us now. At least Flanno's mob gave them something to hate us about. We might earn some respect back.Honestly I loved our identity when were the villains, it suited us and it was reflected in how we bashed, toughed it out and belted teams with Flanno. Similar to a Manly us against the world but even better.
Now it’s like we’ve gone back to the Lowes, Vanilla identity
We don’t have style or presence just bland
Thanks mate. The Bunnies aren't battlers mate
Thanks for the constructive response mate. Some people here remind of those old folks that just hate any sort of change.Honestly I loved our identity when were the villains, it suited us and it was reflected in how we bashed, toughed it out and belted teams with Flanno. No one else had that..

Agree with this. Most people or fans hate the clubs that are successful. Why? Because they are jealous. Thanks for the constructive response mate. Some people here remind of those old folks that just hate any sort of change.
Being the so-called "good guys" isn't a thing in rugby league. Especially in a game when you literally have to the bash the **** out of your opposition.
Why do you think opposition fans are all so excited sharks haven’t won a final for a bitAgree with this. Most people or fans hate the clubs that are successful. Why? Because they are jealous.
It’s like that with Penrith, they get labelled as arrogant and classless. Storm, still get labelled cheats and grubby. Roosters, the salary cap sombrero. We were the grubs and asada cheats.
Who cares what other fans or the media think, we get enjoyment out of our own team winning as does every fan.
Yeah some great points you raise thereWhy do you think opposition fans are all so excited sharks haven’t won a final for a bit
Many of their teams haven’t even played one
We’re on the verge of being one of those teams
So they like seeing us fail
Most of the neutrals cheer against us every game so they can keep crowing ‘Sharks are pretenders’
Same as why the media loves narratives like sharks haven’t beat a top8* team, and why that got lapped up
Actually I used to like Penriff. It wasn't their success that turned me off them but how the players started to rub in the opposition's face after scoring tries or after the other team made mistakes etc.Agree with this. Yeah same here. They seemed to have toned it down a bit this year.Actuallyn

There is absolutely no reason why the hills had to be destroyed though. Idioticwell the reason as money and leverage
we had none of either and had to sell it all to the developers so that we could survive. we lost control, and there was no money in it for them, to build in stadium upgrades etc.
in the end the club survives, we won a comp so its a net positive, however we have painted ourselves into a corner as to where we play and the space to grow.
at the current site, if we can't get the funds to completely re do the ET stand (you would basically want the new big stand at WIN Stadium in that spot and then re do the southern end to make that bigger ..seats at the front etc) then they really are stuck for what they can and cant do
well, there the loss of control right. There is absolutely no reason why the hills had to be destroyed though. Idiotic
Can't we be the baby-faced assassins? Thanks for the constructive response mate. Some people here remind of those old folks that just hate any sort of change.
