Doubt whether he ever gets another head coaching gig
He seems much better off without one. Somehow he's golden again, with his media role and being on the most wanted (in a good way for a change) coaching list. So long as he doesn't actually take a head coach role he'll be in high demand.

He also isn't the only half who has dominated the juniors but couldn't step up to the big stage
He didn’t though. He got a dream ride through the juniors because of dad and some very good teams he played in, but talk to anyone who played against him in those years and they’ll tell he was no standout.

We do have a terrific Centre that can easily play in the back row in desperation
Prefer not but we do have one.

If we do go for a backrower, I wouldn’t mind Sorensen back!
I think Colquhoun would probably play second row if 2 of the other 3 were unavailable. He played 80 there a few times last year for the Jets and was solid defensively out there in the trials.

Could also use Williams as a stop gap for a game or two.

O’Kane is a depth option.

I think we would see Talakai go to second row and Iro or Tracey come in if it was a couple of games thing. Could be wrong, but I just think we have pretty good depth with those two and gives them some game time.

Could be the lazy Sunday talking, but what do we think about McInness in the second row? Williams to lock.

It's another never happen scenario but I reckon he's got the game to make it work.

They tried that for one game last year and it was a bit of a disaster (Cam to SR).

Why move someone out of their position rather than just bring in someone to replace the injured guy?

Colquhoun, Graham and Williams are all capable of playing there. Just use one/two of them.

Probably moot anyway. NRL.com now reporting that Nikora will be named.

Because we have chewed through our forward depth and we have a better 17 in my opinion in doing that. But only if Nikora is out, which apparently he is not.

No thanks
Don’t break up the left edge combo for a week or two injury.
Would consider it for something long term

Meh. It’s an option - but at best it’s a wash - and you are splitting up a (left edge) group who finally seem to be clicking.

Colqhoun at a pinch in the second row, yeah. It will shortlived though. The kid is a behemoth. Has legs like bridge pylons. He's doing very nicely in the 10 jersey for the Jets.

Could always offer Tasipale a min wage deal. He's been doing well for Jets as well.
