Bronson Xerri looks very different without his banana nose!
You don't pay $900k for a utility forward, surelyWell that actually confirms me guess haha
Although interesting it days 15% when until reported figure was 18%
That was before deal was actually finalised though but negotiated it down?
Feels like Canberra signing kind of makes their Hosking signing a waste?
Whitehead and Young, use Leilua off the bench with view to taking over for Whitehead next season. Hosking kind of becomes surplus to requirement?
I didn't even notice... was too busy rubbing my eyes in disbelief at that haircutBronson Xerri looks very different without his banana nose!
People keep mentioning that but I didn’t watch the trial. Did he have a nose job?Bronson Xerri looks very different without his banana nose!
Next, Cleary will be in for a chin reduction, DCE will have a neck surgically implanted... what's the game coming to?!People keep mentioning that but I didn’t watch the trial. Did he have a nose job?
That would seem like not
Muchnpoint dueing an NRL career.
Speaks to the kind of vanity that may have had him int rouble previously too, potentially
When Cows signed him they still needed to overpay to attract playersYou don't pay $900k for a utility forward, surely
A neck surgically implanted? More neck!?Next, Cleary will be in for a chin reduction, DCE will have a neck surgically implanted... what's the game coming to?!
He's definitely has had something done. Think he made it too small though now LOL!People keep mentioning that but I didn’t watch the trial. Did he have a nose job?

haha it'd help with his field visionA neck surgically implanted? More neck!?
The man could pass for a giraffe
He was probably banking on people having forgotten what he looked like after his four year break. Can't wait for the awkward Bloke interview with the Beak! He's definitely has had something done. Think he made it too small though now LOL!
He'd be great at seeing where the fullback and wingers were positioned over other defenders headshaha it'd help with his field vision

Was that 1 or 2 years the Cows need to cover? Being lazyWhen Cows signed him they still needed to overpay to attract players
Now they’d be chipping in (presumably) to get him off their roster.
If they are chipping in 400k he’s not a bad option for 500k on your books.
If they are chipping in 200k I’d be baulking too unless they get on board more
Xerri's only thinking about the now... he's missed out on a great Bloke podcast post-career - Twin Beaks. He'd be great at seeing where the fullback and wingers were positioned over other defenders heads

Probably had a succession plan since the day they signed him. He’s no doubt taught Dearden a thing or two about steering the ship, and they have some young pups coming through who could take over at 6 (eventually).Bet the Cows would like to move Chad on as well ..
Think 2 but also won't checkWas that 1 or 2 years the Cows need to cover? Being lazy
Either way, I think you're having to pay him $900k for at least one season
Clifford? Oh man I can't agree with you on that one, he is pure ****.I’m not wishing injury on Chad, but I’d actually really like to see a Clifford-Dearden combo for a game or 3 this year. Clifford can play. He just can’t be the main man.
Yeah, still $900k out of your cap for a season, which affects the way you can make up your squad. That's too much in my mind, even with the discounted seasons.Think 2 but also won't check
But you're right the new contract extends beyond what they'd be covering, which would mean you want them covering more earlier to make the full freight not as painful.
Do you think Dearden can become the main man ?Probably had a succession plan since the day they signed him. He’s no doubt taught Dearden a thing or two about steering the ship, and they have some young pups coming through who could take over at 6 (eventually).
Chad wants another year though - so maybe that happens another year later (depending on money and result this year).

I think the Cowboys do, and he has followed the right path imo. Broncos tried to make him do too much too soon.Do you think Dearden can become the main man ?
