Seems odd to offer a guy more than he's getting to leave a club he doesn't want to be at. And I can't imagine there's a huge amount of interest

The article said $700k, but it is ZT, so anything else could be true.
Sure, I was quite possibly misremembering anyway
So say that was actually more like 730 though that’d be up to like 860k through the 2023 ratchet, I guess maybe there would have been a much smaller ratchet for this year with another cap raise, but that could have him around 880k… near enough to round up.
Maybe he did score some bonus padding on the contract but I think that could explain a lot of the increase.
Because them just dropping an extra 200k on him (even if cows were paying like 400k) seems extortionate.
Surely cows couldn’t be paying more than that.

Feels like Canberra signing kind of makes their Hosking signing a waste?
Whitehead and Young, use Leilua off the bench with view to taking over for Whitehead next season. Hosking kind of becomes surplus to requirement?
