Not sure what word is missing but they are a contender every year and this year.

Our O-line (the guys who protect the QB) has been smashed by injury this year (hopefully get one guy back soon) and also had Gronk retire last year who was an absolute beast of a human, arguably the greatest ever player in his position.
Add to that the QB is old AF

But they are 5-0 currently for the season.
Contender each year I meant.

What made you support Patriots over everyone else?

So what does everyone get up to in the off-season?

Do you follow another sport?

Spend more time with the family?

I follow the NBL and the season just kicked off, i'm a Sydney Kings member also. League will always be my number one sport though

I also follow Supercars (Ford), Bathurst is this weekend, can't ****ing wait!

Yea this time of year (post NRL & AFL Grand Finals/pre cricket season) is usually about the motor sport for me + whatever else random sport is on. darts, golf, basketball whatever haha
I prefer the Bathurst 12 Hour GT race (on in Jan/Feb) but don't mind having the Super Taxi 1000 on the tele in Oct all the same if I am around the house at the time. Holden vs. Ford is kinda getting irrelevant though. More like GM vs. Mustang haha

I'll watch the Moto GP & F1 seasons finish up it's last bunch of races even though Márquez & Hamilton have the WC's in the bag respectively.

For now I'm watching the Union World cup on and off, it's been an entertaining tournament with a few surprises thrown in and an epic host nation/crowds. It ****s all over international Rugby League in every single way.

Nov through Jan is all about the cricket, Test cricket that is not the snooze fest circus limited overs cricket has become although I still end up watching half a match here and there and can get into a rare tight contest. I'll catch parts of some A League games as well.

Dec/Jan is about Xmas and taking time off work. chilling the **** out while putting the feat up, catching up with friends and family, getting some things done around the house if I can be bothered and maybe going away on holiday somewhere as long as beaches are there. it really is the best time of year.

come January i'll also get into the Aus Open Tennis

I don't follow any other codes as closely as League but do follow the NFL (Dolphins so it'll be a painful season) and I do like cricket a bit, got free members tickets so will get to a fair few SCG matches.

And I'll follow the NBA a bit, might try and get to an NBL game but don't follow it at all

NRL and AFL are the two codes I follow the most. I'm actually ready for the off season this year, have been for a while tbh.

I love cricket but this summer isn't overly appealing with series against Pakistan and NZ.

Don't really follow any of the American sports.

I do like a bit of the EPL but I'm not into it like some of the guys in here.

I still look up League everyday, get google to send me a Cronulla News email everyday in case I've missed anything.

I'm into Supercars - Go to Perth/Barbagallo every year. This time last year, we were preparing to fly over for Bathurst. Carn the Redbulls!! Hoping to go to Darwin maybe next year. I used to follow the cricket and tennis but not so much in the last 5 yrs or so.

I work almost every weekend and public holidays /holidays seasons dont mean anything in terms of days off, work most of them too.

Hahaha I do have a bit of a softspot for Mostert. I thought it was gonna be his year a few years back, til he wrecked himself on the mountain.
haha all good, just a bit of banter

Mate that crash was huge!

He is a great driver that just needs to be more consistent. I don't think he had a good car the last couple of years though.

I reckon he might sign with Andretti so you might like him a whole lot more soon :)

I'm already into the cricket, umpiring my son's Under 10s games following mates playing shires cricket and watching the pros play when they are on.

Of course I'll watch my Baggies in the Championship in England and try to play as much golf as I can. I haven't played much this year, my 17 handicap has ballooned out to 23 or 24.

And of course, as every bastard on this forum knows - I'm building a pool!

Is there really a player called Gronk? haha that's brilliant

I feel ya, I'm over league for at least a few months, need a break. have half enjoyed watching the finals but long season, turd of a Sharks team

yea mate I know

Aside from cricket I check for league sites daily for any bit of news like a crack addict as the count down to next year ticks away.

It's a bit of a summer tradition for me to grab a Subway Footlong, 2 cookies and a coke and trowel though old posts on opposition fan forums LOL

I'm a huge cricket & EPL fan, watch the internationals & the state games aswell, Sheffield shield & the 1 day cup, QLD being my team. I'll watch my team Arsenal as much as I can, probably even 1-2 other games & the championship a bit aswell.

I follow the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL a bit aswell, not as much as the other 2 though, don't have a team in the NBA but I watch that every now & then. We've got the Melbourne Cup & Bathurst coming up aswell which I watch every year.

Can't forget the BBL in cricket either, BH fan. AB De Villiers will be a huge pickup & straight replacement for McCullum.

Rob Gronkowski

1.98m 122kg

He was an absolute beast but did struggle with injuries at times

On top of being a dominant player on field he was loaded with personality also
