I do agree that letting DeGois was one of the most monumental **** ups of all time. Listening to Brian Smith blow DeGois trumpet in the paper today had me reaching for the razor blades. How on earth they came up with the decision that he was not worth the money defies logic.

I recall we got him from Wests Tigers we let Kingston then slide away into oblivion then we just let De Gois go, what sort of sh** player recruiting is that. It just doesn't make sense. Someone needs to start answering these questions. De Gois was worth more money, plus the fact he is not that old and had a good future. I can't believe we recruited Hughes, the guy is blue and white through to his bone, and the same goes for Barrett Red and White. Kimmorley played and gave his all for Cronulla then we just cut him. Sh** behaviour from Cronulla!

Kimmorley is better than Barrett any day. Today he scored a 70m try, he is having the last laugh as he will play semi finals, something Cronulla won't be doing. I suppose if you look at results then who is better?

Steve Kneen- loved your style in '78 and now in 2009 still telling it straight, i'm not just agreeing cause were not going well, Kimmorley deserved another year to honour his contract...and as i've said before -choked on my Breakfast this time 12 mths ago when De Gois mgt attempted to start negotiations and :nodlaugh our officials said " lets just see how he goes this year!!!!!!!"" madness, having said that i don't think Hughes going too badly, just a monumental blunder with Degois!!

Whoever was responsible for letting Kimmorley. De Gois, Bird go should be booted out.
Ray Hadley and the boys agreed today that most NRL clubs would give anything for a player like Kimmorley and we gave him away for a crock like Barrett.

We were going just as crap back when he took over (thanks Raper), and when he did take over we were so happy to get him the likes of (Sharks Mafia) Barry Pierce and Greg Pierce let him have complete autonomy over coaching and recruitment decisions. With that said, Ricky is not the sort of bloke to make excuses, and if he honestly thought he couldnt make an improvement or help our cause he would walk. Hopefully!!!

No mate I am not that way inclined, but ok for you if you want to laugh about good players being let go. I will keep on this case as it is an absolute fu*king disgrace. Those of you that have been following the Sharks for a long time know that this was a bad decision, along with the other players we lost.

It is bad player management, and someone needs to pay for these mistakes.

I know you hate Kimmorley, so it is no use saying so. The coach of Canterbury has said that it is Kimmorley so I will go with his opinion over yours with due respect. Cronulla were 1 game away from a Grand Final last year, if you know anything about RL then you will know that it is the halfback and hooker who are nearly the 2 most important components of a side, then we cut him. It is idiocy, go and ask anyone with half a football brain and they will tell you the same things. Kimmorley is one of the top 6 halfbacks in the comp and will lead Canterbury to semi finals. Results speak for themselves. Cronulla made a mistake about many things and now we will pay a price, the results already show we can't score points.
