That would be a very foolish decision as it create a precedent and opens up a can of worms where every single game would be open to full review when the losing team is unhappy with the result.

Reversing a decision after the game has finished to appease the losing team is an even worse outcome and would set a terrible precedent.

Yeh; nah we are through. I'm sure (I hope) the guys won't be affected by all this drivel.

Just wanna say , have been a lurker here (best forums worldwide) for the longest time ; and this incident brought me out to post.

Whenever I have gone out to the game and watched Sharks vs Manly with my Dad (rabid Manly supporter) we have lost.

The last time was when Manly scored a try in the last seconds to take away our win.

So when the Cowboys scored in the last seconds I just walked out of the room; even my Dad was emotional about it.

Then I hear them calling me back yelling "NO TRY" ! Oh from complete devastation to utter joy in the matter of seconds

Go you Sharkies !! I've said all season we can beat anyone full strength, please let there be a miracle healing of Toddy and Fifita!

Oi Jett
i sent your opening email to 2ue, and they said its Zero tackle when the attacking team makes a mistake, and Fifita caught the ball clean so is wasnt Zero Tackle,
So whats the differance between Fifitas , and Tates Zero Tackle.
Can Anyone "Please Explain"

Its only really getting the headlines because its Cowboys second annual bum deal. If it was any other team, or even the Sharks, it wouldn't be making as much waves.

But in saying that, if it happened to us I'd be blowing up as well.

Atleast the best team won on the day. Seriously. All their momentum came from dubious refereeing, such as Morris' strip from Matt Scott's recently operated on hand!! They got 3 penalties in the first 20 minutes and it was the only way they went forward all game.

The intercept try is a real shame because it was a gift, and without it they wouldn't have cause to winge about the result.

The NRLhas already officially stated that this was a mistake so it's been reviewed and was definitely a 7th tackle try. But who cares we win they lose bring on manly next week

I can understand the players being upset; can you imagine Gal in his position? But this dribble is getting way out of hand.

Look up the official 2013 NRL rules. They don't mention anything about this. Wikipedia is not an official source of NRL rules.

It is mentioned Mark. In the glossary section

http://www.nrl.com/portals/nrl/RadEditor/Documents/NRL Rules book 2013FINAL.pdf

Zero tackle: Where a breach occurs and possession changes hands, the following tackle will be a zero tackle notwithstanding that the team gaining possession may have gained a territorial advantage.

There was no breach. The ball was regathered from a kick therefore it was tackle 1 and it was a 7th tackle try.

But who the fugg cares? No one did in 1978 when Manly got one against us in the GF.

Fugg 'em all.

The rest of the cowboy fans wouldnt even no what their complaining about. They're sheep following the herd.
