I just had a look online at our numbers for the season. Below are some interesting figures:

3rd for tried scored (behind Roosters and Storm)
Equal first for line breaks
1st for line break assists
10th for kick return metres
15th for set completion
16th for dummy half runs (26 off the 2nd lowest)
16th for total kicks but 13th for total kick metres
15th for conversion %
1st for errors
4th for penalties conceded

The stats tell a pretty clear story.

1st for errors 4th for penalties - what hope do we have
1st for errors, that’s ****ing embarrassing.

Imagine where we’d be if we actually completed at an NRL average rate...

The fact we have the ability to score tries at will but can’t hold onto the pill and give away penalties just shows you how much we have wasted this season

Chooks are similar (no stats just watching) but can defend.

Our D is bull****. We have to score 30+ or we lose. That hasn't worked since Tigers 2005 FFS.

yea i think Roosters had one of the highest error and maybe even penalty rates when they won the comp last year but they had everything else going for them including the ability to actually defend.

16th for Dummy half run.. that’s because our forwards are crap and don’t set a platform for a dummy half to run
How can a dummy half scoot when woods takes 2 minutes to play the ball

Someone send those stats to Morris and tell him to adjust the game plan. The players are retarded yet think they are the globetrotters

Maybe it’s just me but I hate razzle dazzle low completion high error rate footy. It’s like going into a time machine and watching under 20’s footy again.I want to build our own purple wall ( like the storm have). We without doubt since October 2nd 2016 have been the most skilled and experienced dumbest most ill disciplined wasteful impatient and worse of all IMHO arrogant team going around.

Like i tell my now 13 year old youngest daughter, who was for the first 3 months of her life was the baby from hell never slept ate or did anything but scream and cry.
I always loved you just sometimes I didn’t like you ( that’s my relationship with the sharks at the moment)

The razzle dazzle is fine, it just needs to be earned. We haven't come close to earning it.

Thanks for the stats. That's pathetic considering our roster.

Surely Morris needs to be called out on those?

I looked up the stats - our coach hasnt missed a tackle, dropped a ball or missed a conversion

I loved Morris as a player, dont know about as a Coach yet, but this season isnt on him

Its on the egomaniacs who think they can rock up and win without trying

Good to add my first 'agree with Snowman' item into the column.

It's a bit embarrassing for the players to see the difference in intensity and ability now verse the first half of the season. There's a couple of excuses, but none that hold up considering how big that different is.

I still think some of the accountability for this is on the coach to smack them out of that attitude though. Otherwise, nothing is ever going to be the fault of a coach.

If we don’t finish in the top 8 with our roster, it’s been a massive fail. I do agree that he needs a 2nd full season though at least to show some improvement. The potential is there, but the team needs to start playing for him like they did for Flanno.

I was referring more to the 1st for errors and 4th for penalties. A good coach nips that in the bud real early.

Let us remember the 2017 season where we kept our 2016 premiership squad essentially the same.

We were in similar standing that year to this year in regards to errors, penalties and the like. We limped into the eight and dishes up a delicious 80 minutes full of errors and penalties to lose to the Cowboys in the first round.

It’s been a problem since, and it wasn’t Flanno’s fault then and all these other jargon issues you’re making now for Morris.
