Hass was out defending at centre after the break, clearly out of position. Probably could have made a better effort though. The part of that try that killed me was watching Moses casually jog back and make **** all effort to help. Sums him up perfectly.

he made close enough to no effort - I had to watch the replay a few times to try to work out did he think he was offside or some ****? He just let him run past him like it was nothing. I mean I know he was fatigued but fmd that was lazy soft

I thought Moses had a decent game once he got going - Cleary was nothing special in his first 3 or 4 Origin games (missed him and his offsider @ 6 tonight hard no doubt though)

Wonder how Josh’s back is today after the Tino hit. All above board in the rules but he is a sitting duck there.

Talks fine
Whinging and bitching about a loss gets VERY monotonous
But , you are correct
I can check out of this thread

PS : I didn't think you even cared much about Origin

Is it any different to after a Sharks' loss? We are a NSW-based footy club mate.

I don't really care about it, something to watch mid-week tbh.

Yeah I know it's legal but I don't like it, it's a cheap dog shot imo. It's a tough game but there's nothing tough about that.

I'll have to watch it back. I thought Hass ended up marking up on capewell who beat him for footwork before throwing it inside to Hunt. I put that more on his inside man not working hard enough at the time.

I thought Moses was better than Wighton but both halves really struggled to connect to the backline. Moses also doesn't go deep enough into the line, which starved Tommy of any possible space out wide.

Yeah , should of posted the humorous Fatty video first then the comment about QLD played well lets move on after it :)
Just posted video to lighten things up a tad
Wasn't aimed at you , just so much bitching and moaning that NSW Lost
Unfair , baaaah , baaaah , baaaah
Just wanted to give credit where credits due
NSW weren't at their best , end of story , even allowing for refereeing or non-refereeing decisions

I know it wasn't directed at me specifically, just having a laugh you said move on and then immediately followed that with more origin content.

I don't agree that it is that unreasonably to discuss the refs performance just the same as we are discussing blues and qld performance.
I agree Qld were the better side on the night and NSW could have done better, I also thought Qld got more favour from ref which does contribute to result.
If someone was saying only reason NSW lost was diabolical reffing that is a bit different to discussing some of the calls or saying overall didn't think it was great but NSW also were disappointing.

The refs are always a third party both teams need to account for, a player can have a bad game or make a mistake and so can the refs.

Good Stuff ,
Yeah , totally get where your coming from on all counts .
I suppose I came here today after watching Post Game on FOX last night and felt the same as I did then .

Was really hard to watch Ennis ( who's normally unbiased ) and Braith Anasta ( always biased ) whinge and carry on about NSW not getting the run of the green .
Nothing initially about the way the other team really aimed up .
Cronk ended up the one showing some class (and I can't stand him)

In addition on Tuesday you get the likes of Hadley on NRL360 stating NSW cant lose .
I enjoy the likes of Stirlo who call as they see it without bias and show sportsmanship.

So for me , we lost , QLD played great and deserve credit to rise up .
Anyhow , I've said too much - Over and Out , for this thread - see you next year :)

Haha is that knuckle dragger seriously on 360? No wonder I stopped watching years ago, sounds like it's getting even worse which I didn't think was possible.

it was a **** game bar the final 5 minutes, congrats on the series blues fans

Was a terrible game wasn't it, the last 5 minutes was only interesting because anybody could win, not due to the quality of the play.

Yes I am biased, but the first game was the best of the series, was an excellent attacking display by NSW and despite it being one sided was impressive to watch.

The other two games were somewhat of a non event.

I think the choices were more based in the fact that Walker and Reynolds are at the end of their careers, where as Moses and Wighton are younger and viewed as potential origin players. With the idea being to get them some experience for down the track.
If the series was 1-1, I suggest we probably would have seen Walker and Reynolds.

I guess Freddy didn't account for the fact that Wighton has been in awful form and Moses is a myth. Neither should see a blue jersey ever again with full fitness.

Yep. Though I don't think either of them have shown they're good enough to take the roles in the future, in clubland or origin.

Moses' defence was **** house all game. Lots of half arsed arm attempts and dropping off the second someone else came in

Paul Green is no longer the Queensland coach. Apparently he wasn't sacked, QLD tried to sign him to a two year extension but Green only wanted to commit to one as he wants to return to club coaching sooner rather then later.

Wayne Bennett is the early favourite for the job.

I'd say 9 would have had a say as exclusive broadcaster. They'd prefer a bigger ground that allowed them more space to do their pre-game bs.

space for Goulds head - I think they are over hauling the CH9 broadcasting team though

He's a **** coach so will be a good fit.

While Fitz is an unknown how much of a relief is it that having a coach locked down for 3 years means we can avoid some of the dud coaches coming onto the market. Fitz gets to start fresh under the new rule set

I reckon it would be epic to see Thurston or Cronk or cam smith coach the side.

epic for NSW

but I am not against another chance to beat cam smith or cronk

Thurston more likable in retirement and I like his banter with Gal
