Nothing to do with the thread but relevant to the conversations above...
My boy just started tennis and it was interesting that almost all the drill games were competitive based. Top Court had the winner of a short game move up and the loser down. Bounce had them hit a certain number of shots in a point to 'bounce' up a level. Jail had them play against the coach and go to jail if they lost the point. They had lots of fun but the kids got the competitiveness and were giving each other gentle digs. The coach was great though (Jai Laguia clone) so it never got more than that.

In an individual sport such as tennis, it’s fair enough. Gotta start them early with that competitive streak

That's not a surprise. Hardly played since he left Celtic and with West Brom, he's hardly been able to get on the bench, let alone in the starting XI.
Point taken, but he’s still a dangerous player, which Australia don’t have many of. Even to gave him as an option to come off the bench would’ve been helpful

Yeah I get that. But as Arnie said, he already has two 10’s in the squad in Hrustic and McGree. There wasnt room for him and the other two are more match fit.

Ive only really got a problem with Langerak’s omission, the rest of the squad is pretty good imo. Sainsbury’s shock omission was ballsy by Arnold considering he’s his son in law. Christmas dinner is going to be a bit awkward.

That true, have not heard that anywhere else
Paying $13, get on if you want your mortgage gone.

Maybe he’s keeping Sainsbury honest, perhaps he’s gotten too comfortable at the family dinners

Melbourne City manager Patrick Kisnorbo is set for a big move to the French Ligue 1. He’s apparently the front runner for the managers job for ESTAC Troyes, who like Melbourne City, are owned by the Manchester City Football Group.

Done deal, its been announced.

Rado Vidosic has been appointed interim coach.

Fun random fact, Rado’s son, former Socceroo, Dario is the coach of the Melbourne City Womens team. A first for world Football apparently.

You can keep your world cup trophy. This thing of beauty is the new trophy just unveiled for the F3 derby between Newcastle and Central Coast.

Its made from an actual piece of the F3 highway.

I love this crazy league.
