When trackies and satchel bags don't make you hEktiK enugh, grab the flares and bucket - what a bunch of Xerri's

isn't there a good chance a Sydney team will finish first and have the rights to host the GF anyway lol. fmd the A-League was broke, didn't meet their KPIs for payment from Paramount - what were supposed to do. Yea there is no A-League without fans, also no A-League without $$ to fund it.

btw the goal keeper is being sanctioned for throwing that flare back towards the crowd. cause ya know he asked for the crowd to go feral and getting a bucket in the face wasn't enough

be interesting what the players and refs associations says about all this

He basically threw a lit flare into a powder keg

Good chance they erupt anyway but you can't have players throwing things into crowd.
Camera man had already been hit by a flare. Something was going to be the catalyst to set things off but he easily could have made it not him.
Feral fans and fans throwing things at players/workers is behaviour that should be stamped out at first signs, not left to get this bad.

Seriously don't understand why they're not charged by the cops for having flares. Copping bans from games is bullshit, how is it even monitored anyway?

Time to get tough with these muppets.

Nah not really. Sydney FC have been rank average this year and while the Wanderers are in second, they have a mid to late season collapse in them every year (they’ve been dogshit post world cup break so maybe the collapse is starting earlier then anticipated). Melbourne City are 5 points clear (8 if they get the three points from a forfeit for Saturday) at the moment but they just lost their coach so that could bring them back to the field. Macarthur are a shout.

Punishment for Victory fans should be that all their home games for the next four seasons are played in Sydney. Better yet, in Macarthur

im not condoning what happened to glover, but just take a look down the other end

city fans were throwing flares and izzo just kicked them off the pitch

i get it, trust me, glover didnt ask for the flare to be thrown at him ect, but throwing it back into the crowd and that is exactly what is going to happen

no athlete should feel unsafe on their court/field - but come one man, dont do that

Good to see the fuzz coming down hard.

I hope this sets a new precedent for anyone behaving like a ******** at sporting events. Being thrown out or copping a ban is not enough.

its been reported that several of the offenders were serving life bans anyway, so charges need to be laid

What a total **** show. I just don't think the A-League have had the balls to deal with their 'fans'. Plus their junior engagement and programs run a distant last.

We were looking at putting our young bloke into a Wanderers holiday clinic... Then saw it was 2 hours for $80. AFL was a full day for free.

This is why bans are a complete waste of time, they can't be enforced effectively.

Police charges have to be the first step now. Enough.

Yep I couldn't agree more, prices are ridiculous. I'm not disappointed at all that my eldest missed out on SAP, and neither is he.

How does that work? What if you're on holidays?

Not sure how it works if they’re overseas, maybe they’ve got to notify ahead of time and provide evidence or something.

If they’re on a domestic holiday im pretty sure they just report to the nearest police station, all these details are on a shared database.

Dont get yourself banned then and you wont have to put up with it.

Inconvenience is a quite effective deterrent.

A country like Scotland needs this though due to the violent history of the Glasgow derby, having clubs separated on religious grounds.

Yeah I know, pretty foreign concept for a country like ours.

Pretty sad some people go that far.
