Luis Suarez to Sydney FC is apparently a ‘small but realistic’ chance of happening. They would have to move a visa player on, likely to be LeFondre.

This has set back the game and active support twenty years. I’m absolutely fuming at those ****ing cowardly clowns for the damage they’ve done to the game in this country.

I’m so ****ing hurt.

The World Cup won't do much good for the game here when this **** happens.

We were handed a massive opportunity after the momentum our world cup campaign built and these ******** have pissed it all away in record time. Football again shoots itself in the foot in Australia.

Yep, not many people will want to take their kids to the footy if they think it's not safe. And the kids are the future of the game.

Active support in the A-League is some of the best support of any sport in this country. It’s unmatched in generating an atmosphere and passion. I am so sick of minority of scumbags ****ing ruining it for those of us who are good people and do the right thing. Makes me sad and sick.

True, but crowd numbers for anything other than the derby's has been pretty abismal for a while now.

We've got tickets to see the Wanderers in January and I would have just not gone if it were against Sydney. Wouldn't trust the clown supporters that think it's a tribal war.

Sydney FC’s attendances have been decent this year. There are clubs that regularly draw. Macarthur don’t. Thats a club that shouldn’t exist.

Macarthur? Yes, it’s embarrassing isnt it? Like I said they shouldn’t exist. They’re spot should of gone to Canberra or Wollongong.
Probably some misguided attempt to pull in disgruntled Wests Magpies fans from the NRL

Which team’s fans were at that section? Declare that team has lost the game 3-0 and strip 9-12 points and penalize the fans responsible to the fullest extent of the law.

It was one of Melbourne Victory active groups OSM.

I think they’re looking at a big fine, loss of points, a forfeit loss to Melbourne City and possibly even the rest of their home games being played behind closed doors for a while, maybe even the season. APL will want to make an example here.

Pardon my ignorance but what's an active group? Like CSSC?

Yeah a bit a like CSSC, just on a much bigger scale, that’s not a knock on the CSSC, those guys ****ing rule, but football (soccer) atmospheres are more……prominent then Rugby League ones.

The Cove is an active group. They’re the ones making the noise, the big tifos you see at the start of the game, the songs and they’re a fans voice to and for the club.

I kinda wish League had similar atmospheres, the CSSC is one of the best around in league for sure though, I love what they do.
