Yeah, there's no way you release a guy which will leave you without a backup.

If Brailey goes down, I wonder if they'd just bring up the Flegg hooker (I say this knowing nothing about our Flegg hooker) to Cup?
Found out the other day both of last years ones have stopped playing footy so even then it is was probably the U19s hooker the year before (Will Saunders) unless we have recruited someone else for Flegg

What's the youngest Brailey up to? Isn't he supposed to be the best?
That was said the other day too although I personally only recall him being said to be 'the biggest' (which would have been vs the size of other two at same age)

Other than stopping footy not sure what he is up to - possibly an apprenticeship via Chad if he has his way

Seen this on a rumour mill page. Warriors are set to launch a huge bid at Big Nelson for 2026. He is contracted until 2027 however apparently warriors will see if the storm are interested in releasing him. He will earn 900k in his final season at the storm so could be a good move for both clubs. Anyways just a rumour doing the rounds but would be huge for the warriors if they could pull it off.
I get the feeling if he leaves Melbourne he won’t be half the player he is but if he goes to the Warriors he has the potential to be the biggest waste of space on a football field in a long time.

I'd agree if I wasn't bort if it wasn't for JFH
If they were looking at NAS I could see JFH getting in his ear before he agrees to it and holding him accountable. Probably about the only player he'd respect enough to listen to.

Newcastle could be the proud owners of the 2 worst deals in Rugby League with $2.6 million tied up in Dylan Brown and Ponga.

C’mon, Newy! You know you want to!
They'd be irrelevant without Ponga so they probably do need to spend that.

Step two is stop throwing good pays at every mediocre half you can find but don't actually want to play. You could argue less money on Ponga fixes that but they probably need to overpay for a good half to go there anyway, especially if Ponga wasn't there.

I considered that and you’re probably right. As if JFH doesn’t have a big enough job already without babysitting Nelson.

The guy is made of cement.

Paint him turf-green and get him to lie down near the halfway mark as a trip hazard.

Christian Welch did announce his retirement today. Think it was posted somewhere but couldn’t find it.
