as anybody thought that the reason Cronulla haver not announced Carney's signing is that they might be waiting for Gallop to ok the deal to register Todd,we would look silly if we announced it & then Gallop said sorry Cronulla the NRL won't register him,maybe Cronulla are dotting the i's & crossing the t's
Yeah , they also have to talk to all the sponsors make sure it is a decision the club wants to make

im pretty comfortable we have the carney situation covered. Riolo has been pretty vocal in saying Gal wanted to talk about Carney coming here rather than getting his deal done, and the fact he has spoken to carney himself. What have the dragons done? Sooked about Moltzen? They won't sign Carney and play him in front of hornby (there captain) or soward.

Even so, would he want to go there? Their supporters are deadset cutthroat, he would be the next Timmins, Barrett, Ryles, Lance Thompson the list goes on....Its no wonder when these guys leave they dont go back!
In comparison to Cronulla with the like of Best, Ross & hopefully the Bird who all have been hanging to get back here!
He comes here with everyone wanting him, Gal especially, has his' position in the team assured whether it be 6 or 7 and they are paying him best coin.
The team next year with him in it & Degois, Fifita, Ross, Gibbs & the juniors progressing like Gards, Mills, Bukuya, Albert Kelly is going to be SICK.

Carney is just walking out of a "big club" situation and I highly doubt he would walk straight into another one; particularly one that is known to right a tight ship and is reportedly in some serious financial predicaments.
I'd say if we miss out on Carney, it won't be because he went to the Dragons.
