The chief executive Shane Richardson is in Europe .

The head coach Michael Maguire for the Rabbits next year isn't in Australia until Monday

Carney is on the Gold Coast. And there source for this signing....

"...social media websites were reporting Carney would be at Redfern...."

true. but who's to say he has not done a total back flip on his decision. maybe we were in the box seat for a while but got beaten on the line so to speak

Please correct me if I am wrong does Carney have a drivers licence and didnt he just buy a unit in the eastern subs they might be wright on the bunnies

Ok so I've had it re confirmed that carney WON'T be at the rabbits. Been told they have no money at all. That's all I know.

I don't see how any of the people that have can take that article seriously, It is just speculation from a journo and he probs got the rumour from the souths forum.

Boys, I worked at the Races today and saw Steve Tedro Lyons and Craig Hancock(former Manly winger) and they where betting with us all day. I asked Lyons if he had any info re; Todd Carney and he responded " he has signed a 1yr deal with Souths with a 3yr option " He seemed pretty sure of himself. Different to what ive been hearing !!

It seems to me that the Sharks are sitting on there hands a bit and its starting to piss me off.
