those 166,000 cant speak mate.

But seriously, Carney or no Carney, game plan for 2012 had wanna be a hell of a lot different to this year. We had some success finding space when we moved the ball wide. We lack pazzazz out there but we didnt open up the defence a bit.
Moth is right. Last tackle, we go bomb to the corner, if its Poms 9/10 times he drops it, if it finds a winger, its usually sailing over the touch line. Grubbers into the in goals, with a pack like Snow, Douglas, Smith, Tupou and Gallen, we had a hell of a lot of power we shoulda been able to throw alot of short balls to 1 of them guys and have them run over 1 or 2 guys and score.

Forget the bombs, pick your moments for them

Carney on the Verge of Signing

I have it on pretty good authority that Todd Carney is not far away from signing a one year deal with the Sharks. I have been told that Gallen and Flano have spoken to Todd and things are going along nicely. A proposal will be sent to David Gallop and upon approval he will put pen to paper. Lets get it done and get this Champion player to The Sharks.

" Thats the bottom line cause D.O.J says so "

play him at fullback, we have enough halves and gardner is inconsistant for 26 rounds at the moment. A spine of below looks good to me;
1. carney/gardner
6. kelly/graham
7. townsend/robson
9. degois / morris

No way, I would not leave Gardner out to play Carney at the back. Carney is a 5/8 through and through. Gardner is also the most exciting fullback prospect we have had for a long time.

I personally call bull**** on this rumour but we will see I guess.

Gardner and Gordon are way better fullbacks than Carney.

Are people forgetting that the Carney at fullback experiment was ultimately a failure?

I just hope he stays just of trouble cause the club doesn't need any media problems next year or the loss of a major sponsor

As far as I am concerned, the only bloke I'd be considering as a fullback option with Gards is Luke Pickerd.

Not sure how many caught the game last Friday night but gee whiz Luke Pickerd is a future star.

I saw Pickerd's performance, was very good.

Is he going to fill out though? My concern would be his size, don't know if he could make it at NRL level with his current shape.
