Trindall’s thrown ball to opposition twice, both could have led to tries
Second one did. Same possession. Got a penalty on the next play and a 6-again, then scored.

Also poor defence from Tribdall on the line to let Lussick score.

I’m looking forward to lots of people who haven’t been watching saying how great he is going for the Jets.

I still think on the overall balance, he’s playing well, and always been a fan. He’s just not the perfect halfback that everyone expects Moylan to be.

If they want a traditional Chad style halfback, Puru is probably more like it

Yeah but maybe if he plays NRL he will improve the things he somehow doesn’t improve against easier opposition with less pressure and more time

He's been going great for Jets.

By the sound of it you seem to be keen waiting for a 23 year old to stuff up once in a while, yet Moylan just continuously shows he's a busted 31 year old.

By that standard Trindall will have a great career in first grade :)

trindall was more good than bad, for anyone who goes to the jets games regularly when he plays, he is clear cut the best player in the competition, its not even close

jesse c was arguably best on ground

healy got some nice minutes - @BurgoShark - what is his contract next year?

Atkinson hurt his shoulder at training this week by the way Snowy.
Yourself and Dan were wondering why he didn't play on the Poddy, that's why.

Be really interesting what Tricky would do if a club came knocking with a starting gig.

Yeah - more good than bad for sure.

Agree on Jesse, especially in his second stint. Hiroti up there too. Iro was a beast with ball in hand, but still has defensive dramas.

On Healey, as usual for the younger guys: mixed reports. Have seen some suggestion that he has a development deal for next year, but the only confirmed report is that he re-signed for this year as a Flegg player. The Jets have kept his minutes low, but he has looked good when he has been out there. If I had to guess I'd say that Berrell will be gone at the end of this year (if not earlier) and that they have Healey pencilled in to be somewhere in the Sharks squad and to wear #9 at the Jets next season.

I only saw the first half and highlights of the second, I thought Fearnley looked good though, haven't noticed him much before.

cheers mate

i have heard he is on a dev deal, someone said he went top 30 in 24 but cant see anything on it

looks good, i can see berrell going and healy being the next inline, which sucks, because berrell is a talent

I'm surprised we haven't managed to sneak him a debut at some stage. I guess you're even more appalled...
There was a stretch late last year I thought he would be a good fit for bench spot just in case anything had happened to Blayke leading into finals.

While I'd love to see more games like yesterday from Blayke, and hope we can, I'm a bit higher on his typical game of make a load of tackles and get to hooker a lot providing good service. He has a high floor but just rarely (often through the way the rest of the team are going) plays much above it.

It is great to have a really strong backup hooker, who as a bonus has been surplus to requirement, but also good to hear the likes of Healey in particular but also probably Wilson and TBrailey are creating pressure from underneath to the point he may be looking surplus to requirement.
I've been interested for a while now in seeing how Blayke plays knowing he is only on for around 65 and if not being conservative with his tank opens up his running more often. Starting McInnes to take the sting out and then let Brailey come in fresh was my take however an injection of a 17 like Healey could be interesting, and probably can help cover in spine if needed.
