What happened to their trainer ?

Had to pull out of the job for some reason. Things are at a point that they’ve put an ad in their Twitter account looking for someone. I nominate Chad, he can waddle out the water and deliver the coach’s instructions in the form of aggressive poems.

I’d be happy for either of those two to take Milnes spot and I expect they will. Where do you guys see Milne playing this year? Out of everyone from that trial he was the least impressive. Seemed to have a terrible attitude, kicking his feet and dropping his head, I wouldn’t be happy as a coach seeing it even if it was a trial.

on trial form he should be nowhere near a sharks or jets jersey

Milne has been flat out bad at every level I’ve seen him play. He’s got one asset. He’s big. A perfect example of why the NRL is working so hard to change the attitudes to talent identification/development from “get the most physically developed kids and make them footballers”, to “get the best footballers and give them adequate time to physically develop.”

Milne was years ahead of his peers in his physical development, so looked good without being good. The year he played QLD Cup there are probably 100 forwards better than him who didn’t have NRL contracts.

Bellamy doesn't let too many with potential get away. I remember thinking at the time we signed him that he has the build to be anything, and wondered why the Storm let him go.

surely the system is eventually gunna chew him out - it's hard to make a career out of being a bad reggies player

I hadn't seen much of him prior to the trial against dogs nor knew what he looked like off the top of my head but my immediate reaction in that dogs game was damn Rudolf has regressed bad in the pre-season lol
(ofcourse Rudolf was injured and it was actually Milne haha)

I didn't even clock he was missing but you're right, if he didn't crack this side he's in big trouble... of his own doing.

Yep, been gifted enough games as it is and we've got enough middles plus I'm sure they want to give Hamlin game time to see if he is worth signing to the first grade squad.
