Plans are almost finalised and we *are not* far away until we are handed the empty shell of our Leagues Club building for the fit out to begin. Our building partners will then be working as hard as is possible to complete the construction and have the doors open for our members and their guests in late 2023.
As the drone photos indicate, the Woolooware Bay Development is certainly taking shape and continues to progress.
Corporate/Hospitality
Back home and in relation to our home schedule, we thank our loyal hospitality partners, with interest at an all-time high and all available game day options at PointsBet Stadium SOLD OUT for 2023. With Sharks Leagues Club reopening in 2024, we will see an array of additional hospitality options become available
What does this mean?CEO Update - January 2023

Sorry that's just from the Corporate/Hospitality section, I've updated post above to make it a bit clearer. What does this mean?
Is it just packages or all seating?
Normal seating is also not far off being sold out as well as all Corporate seats. What does this mean?

Shame they can’t connect the club house to additional facilities on top of that pool area.Planned (from 2017):

You mean removed from the premisesShame they ditched the pool, was looking forward to seeing BWB refused entry.
I'm more concerned about what looks like less options to sneak back in... So a few of my friends thinkYou mean removed from the premises
Would have been the perfect way for me to enjoy a game. Except the shrinkageShame they ditched the pool, was looking forward to seeing BWB refused entry.
Absolute travesty in planningTell you what the lack of upgrade to the eastern grand stand or should i say, lack of allowance for future upgrade to the grand stand is a concern to me. Id have loved to see it end up tryline to tryline somewhere in the future. Not an option now.
Gunna be hard to ever expand capacity down the track

There is going to over 700 car parks in the new development for the club/shopping centre, more parking than there ever was before the development started They still could have built in space though for future extra seating on the Eastern side though given the building that the seats would come out from is being built by the developer. The King Wan is the Restaurant overlooking the ground to the left of the PB stand so I'm sure that will become corporate, though the view will be pretty restricted given the large concrete poles along the front. Why not have seating attached to that that can be used by those corporates once the game starts! It's a tricky one.
Personally I think it's going to be pretty rare we get crowds of over ~16k going forward when capacity gets back up a bit. The lack of parking is pretty shitty now.
It would definitely be good to have more undercover seating though, just not enough of it.
I think it's pretty hard commercially to justify spending a chunk of money on the ground unless we can get other tenants in....which I can't see happening.

But that last point is exactly it. At which point does owning your own ground become a burden more than a positive thing? It's a tricky one.

Yep, I don't really think it's much of a positive at all if you're not renting it out for other events. But that last point is exactly it. At which point does owning your own ground become a burden more than a positive thing?
They should be pimping that bad boy out. Without many stadium upgrades they really do open themselves up to possibilities of not playijg home games there in the future if the nrl go down the path of these major stadiums.
