12,500 there last night, I would say that was at the point of dangerously packed, never seen it like that. So it will need some major changes to get back to 15000+

Agree it was dangerously packed last night & not so sure there were only 12,447 in the ground .

The congestion inside the ground was obviously worse that any home game this year well before kick off & got progressively worse.

I wondered that too. There were far more than 1000 extra compared to previous 11,500 crowds

Thought the same thing. Either the last games weren't sold out, or someone fudged the numbers to sell more tickets.

And you still couldn’t get the boys home!

Dino on Page 2 of the Telegraph today keeping pressure on the Government re Shark Park. Nothing much new, though he criticised Mark Speakman for not supporting the funding, and the new sports minister for not accepting an invitation to visit the ground to see the issues. Also said the changes would involve a Centre of Excellence with new stand on top with 6000 seats (I imagine this would replace ET Stand?).

I was in a box for Saturday's game and it was not the best condition, absolutely outdated and for what you're expected to pay you should be getting much more.

I expect the club has been reluctant to spend money on small updates like this if it was to just get knocked down and rebuilt, my question is how long do they wait for this money. Dino is right, they can't play out of there like that in 2 years, at minimum it needs some updates to toilets, corporate areas etc.

Really interested to see what the plan will be, do they move the big games to SFS and play the smaller games at Shark Park.

The plan (ie Government's Plan ) will be to put pressure on Sharks to play at SFS to justify government's spend on SFS

I'd take a few games there a year for a short period in exchange for funding for our stadium upgrades.

Personally I don't see how the Government can justify giving us a heap of money for stadium upgrades when in all seriousness we struggle to get 15k through the gates. It rarely happens.

Have you see the stands during the Roosters games? It's like high school competitions.

I believe Roosters' saviour is Sydney FC. Soccer draws the crowd.
