Also need the flow on effects post and pre game at the club house . Very few Shark supporters would go to Stadium Kogarah and return to the club afterwards

Maybe if Gus was asking, or we were Melbourne... Just can't see the NRL backing us

Not backing us to be good dudes though, it would be for partial ownership of the asset (instead of none). Seems like something they’d have to take a serious look at

Agree, the timing is wrong for it.

It'd not so much the timing, what else will it realistically get used for?

It's not a great location as far as proximity to transport or parking. Isolated to a degree from most of Sydney.

No chance the NRL will do it, would love to be wrong though.

And what will Kogarah get used for ? 6 Dragons games a year. Union?

Parking at Kogarah is way worse. Carlton isn’t that much closer than Wooloowarez

Look I get being skeptical, I can’t see it happening either but not sure your reasons are on point.

What's Kogarah got to do with it? I'm talking purely about the NRL buying a stake in our ground.

Maybe I’m misreading you, my bad

All good. I don't think there was any talk about the NRL buying into Kogarah, would be all Government funded.

Look I'd love for it to happen but I don't see what's really in it for the NRL. I mean the AFL own Etihad, that makes perfect sense.

Must be tough on Dino to carry those giant testicles around with him all the time.

Mate of mine used to deal with Dino when he was at The Star. Said he was a good operator and good guy.

Nice to know we have him as CEO. Even better he’s passionate about the club and it’s not just a job like others before him.

Think this is a bad idea giving the NRL ownership in our stadium

Real bad move

Why ? It’s a win win. They don’t accept it we lose nothing they do we’re guaranteed a place in the NRL - would have its issues here and there but if we want to be a club with security and rank in the NRL it puts us right up there.

Pretty sure the Sharks would still have the majority % of ownership

Can you give reasons ?
Our yearly present costs of home games pretty much run in the Red .
Surely , an opportunity to have a world class boutique stadium on our Leagues Club doorstep , without footing all the bill is beneficial , providing we own at least 51% ?

What does the NRL lose by not accepting?
