Every time I get a bit frustrated with the club/board/development, you listen to Dino speak, and most of those concerns go away. Such a great speaker/interviewee, makes you realise he is on top of things as much as anyone could be.
Yeah absolutely, It's a **** show but there's not much they can do and no doubt they're more annoyed by this than we are.

It’s also hopeful that he even mentions the idea of a best-case scenario handover within the next month, even though that sounded pretty unlikely still. Just the idea that there mustn’t be that much to actually get done

What a cluster****. V frustrating that suing isn't an option – there should be SOME ramifications.

Even if you could sue, that means that everything stops for a few years whilst it gets sorted through lawyers and courts. Plus a couple of mil in legal costs.

I'm sure they have explored all possible options.

I think Cluster**** probably describes it best.

How can you complain when you don't know all the facts?

Are you assuming Sharks are completely innocent in all this?

I can only guess this relates to not having our side of things done in time, e.g. the roof? Or not providing access ourselves.

No worries if you can't comment.

I guess all I can really say is that if every party could have there time over things would have been done different.

DAs, Contracts, sequencing, demolition v retaining. Then add Covid to boot.

It's like a perfect storm of issues (largely) out of everyone's control which has accumulated to one big mess and ultimately a dispute in final completion.

I'm not blaming any party because it's easy to ignore things that happened 4 or 5 years ago and just focus on the final handover (or lack thereof).

Believe me - every party wants to put this behind them and get on with their lives.

Sorry I'm not giving real specifics.

Thanks, no it’s very useful still to understand. I know nothing of this industry and all the complexities

just spit balling as to if we can put our thumb on the scale in all this. as fans and patrons and members of the club we want one thing. if there was some agitation one way or another, maybe a resolution would come quicker.

Is it too late in my life to pray for a miracle?

If I recall correctly my mate who works in large scale construction in NSW had projects blowing out massively after covid because of rain too

Supply issues from covid wasn’t a big problem because everything was too wet to do his projects properly anyway
