Thats a long time! Can’t see us losing Stonestreet.
Fitz has had a hard on for him since he joined the club.
Like an extension? Can’t see us losing Stonestreet.

No HB, Fitz has a 'priapism' for himLike an extension?

Keep Ronnie, move Katoa on.If that's the case, then it would be time to say goodbye Ronny, as much as I like him, great clubman and seems well liked by everyone. Can't let SS leave under any circumstances.
He won't be, surely.I think he will if he's still playing for Jets in 2026
I like Katoa but I've got Stonestreet ahead of him on the depth chart.Keep Ronnie, move Katoa on.
I think this will be the slow progression. Good spot for us to be in, kid needs to be patient for another 12/18 mths.Keep Ronnie, move Katoa on.
Stonestreet has a bright future and a higher ceiling than Katoa but atm I have Katoa ahead of him. Katoa was great in the Panthers game.
I do like the point of difference Stonestreet in his speed and height but he's not better than either imo. And perhaps his development to be that better player will only happen in first grade.
If you factor in cap management aswell as skill set, which imo you must when discussing a player then Stonestreet assuming he's cheaper than Katoa isn't a bad play, but I dont think Katoa would be on a lot ?
End of the day I dont see Stonestreet starting until we either release a winger or get an injury.
We might find Ronnie prices himself out and we keep Katoa ?
I'm in the start Sam camp. I don't think he's the better player yet, but I'd back him to be offering more than the others by mid season if we give him that chance. He just has that point of difference we desperately need.
Other than the Penrith game mid-year I thought Sione had a great season aerially.I love Sione, he's one of my favourites but looking at it with no emotion I think it's obvious Sam is the choice.
Not just for his own upside but also because he fixes the biggest weakness in the position currently, Sione's height means he gets targeted, it sucks but its the truth.

Did you see that length of the field effort with Ison on GF day?Other than the Penrith game mid-year I thought Sione had a great season aerially.
To me it's not about Sione having a specific deficiency, but more the whole side lacking speed. Stonestreet scored tries this year that no one else in our team would have. I want to see that evolve over a full season.
He is already better than Katoa, don't see what makes Katoa ahead of him. Anything Katoa does, Stonestreet either equals or improves...Stonestreet has a bright future and a higher ceiling than Katoa but atm I have Katoa ahead of him. Katoa was great in the Panthers game.

I'm a Sam fan but Sione is far superior on kick returns and hitups, by a long way at this stage. He is already better than Katoa, don't see what makes Katoa ahead of him. Anything Katoa does, Stonestreet either equals or improves...

Katoa's weaknesses (rushing out of the line in D for example) haven't appeared in Stonestreet's game so far.
