My Guess - 500k fine, 300k off the cap for 2 seasons

This just encourages rorting if the cap. Especially if a club is allowed to "park" the amount of the concession for next season.
The NRL really is being run by a bunch of clowns at the moment.
If your players **** up, then that's your problem to deal with.

We didn't get anything for Carney, when we showed him the door. Nor did the Raiders for Whiten. But one St George and Manly need something, along comes the knight in shinning armour to save the day!

I disagree. The player that is stood down could just as easily have been out due to an injury.
We don't get anything for Wade being injured for half the season (nor should we) or any other long term injury to any player in the NRL.
You take the good with the bad IMHO.

By also doing this, it doesn't discourage clubs from signing players with "history" as the club basically has nothing to lose.
If he ****s up again, the club receives a concession.

Yes but it's not an injury, it's a decision made by the club/NRL on a player that hasn't had his day in court.

What if the court case takes 2 years?

What if the player is found innocent?
