Got to the 110kg goal today. Have now lost 26.3kg since November last year. Feels great!

Good stuff mate. I'm punching through the barriers too down just under 15kg now hoping for another 10. Should continue coming off quickly now too as I have training or a game on every day (bar friday) of the week as of this week between soccer, afl & basketball. Just got to try and work out what days to fit in running and strength training.
Great effort guys!!

I started walking a couple of months ago, doing the same track everyday, it was taking me about 2 hours to start and now about 1 hour 30min.

I thought I was doing well until I decided to start interspersing jogging over the last couple of days, I really didn't realise how old and unfit I am. The ticker is fine but the weight on the legs is something else.

Anyway, I jogged more of my walk today than I did yesterday and just plan to keep jogging a bit more each day.

Has anyone else overtaken a chinese octogenarian who is putting everything into it but is actually running slower than walking pace?

Well I'm like that except the sumo version.

Haha too funny Thresher but keep at it.

I figured out I need to run two kilometres to burn a beer off. I did a 30km run last weekend so have 15 beers in the beer bank. I plan on making a withdrawal this weekend.

I can't run too far anymore with all my injuries over the years, but I walk big kms with my dog at a fair pace. Before/after work we do 5k in around 45 mins and on my days off do 11kms in around 110 mins. This includes the little bitch pissing & ****ting on the way

Good stuff B&B.

Yeah I've had bulging discs and a herniated disc in my lower back so I have to always be aware of that.

Walking's probably a better, lower impact exercise really anyway.

And you get a chance to look at stuff.

Great work mate! How long did it take you? Awesome job!
Cheers boys, I started back into the fitness half way through January.

I've pulled up a fair bit from the running, I've mainly just been training and playing sport. Whenever I've got the bye in AFL I go for a run, I'm up to being able to run 10k again now

Well done deano,
I'd run 5k if you dangled a snickers in front of me, great work my friend.. at my absolute heaviest 4 years ago (41yo) I was 143kg, I look back at those photos now I don't think I would still be alive if I didn't start getting my diet and lifestyle in check. Bizzare feeling when buying 5-6 xxl shirts and 46inch pants was just par for the course.

Don't know about snickers but I know I need to run two kilometres to burn off just one beer.
