Commentators said they went off when the ref had the whistle in his mouth, but the ball was down well before he blew it.

I missed the start of the second half so only just saw it. I rewound a few times to actually see if he had and it's clear as day.

The ref was right there too and went up as a no try. Massive butcher. I'm surprised it hasn't been talked about at all. Try. Pretty sad for a million dollar bunker that can't replay something with sound.

The whistle was in refs mouth before he grounded it.

The refs have been a joke all season (and not just our games) in general

It’s appalling how bad the bunker is especially.

The on field refs don’t have much time to make a decision but still some of the calls are very bad!

He puts it in his mouth then starts to back up, then blows it. Have a look at Royce's arm it's all the way up in the air as it's being blown which is after it's been grounded. Video ref called the play as the whistle went to his mouth. I know players are told to play to the whistle, surely this is no different. Can't call a play over because the ref thought to himself it's done. There has to be a call.

I only watch our games once, twice if it was a win & I got time to kill mid week. So I'm running off an intoxicated memory thats 4 days old.

Two worst this year imo are the Sam Walker one on the captain’s challenge and the Bunnies one vs the Dolphins where the winger is sitting in touch.

“We have no touch from the Roosters”. It hit him square in the arm and bounced off him ffs. How can you miss that?

… on the Dolphins one, it was a clear case of them just not knowing the rules. You could see clearly that the Dolphin’s player touched it while he was out, but they called that play on. Ffs my 14yo called it straight away live on the tv but these idiots get to watch it from 43 different angles with a rule book next to them and can’t get it right.

Come to think of it, that whole Bunnies v Dolphins game was a bunker cluster****. Probably 3-4 absolute howlers in that one. Bunker officials must have been high.

Yep. Played simple and resisted the urge to pop a few low percentage offloads.

He settled into the game...he came on for BHU and conceded 1 or 2 linebreaks. Then he firmed up.
