Agree.

Remember that try he scored after he knocked on, then lewis flicked it back in over the sideline to holmes and he ran 90 to score only to be pulled back for holmes knock on. He shoulda known it would be called back and get tackled
Yeah remember it clearly.

I hope that Mitchell Moses, after that missed attempt at goal, realises how futile it is to try to run over the almighty SharkMonsters.

Seggy - what was that kick on the 4th tackle ???

We are going to get stung by carrying him on the bench.

An extra forward in the middle was required and it's not the first time.

I was at the Melbourne game a number of years ago when we were run down in a similar fashion and beaten. Hopefully M.C.C aren't reading this but a number of city bins were beaten on the way home that night too.

I’ll take the two points tonight and try not to think about the last 7 minutes.

Apparently we only had one on the bench toward the end so the players obviously were suffering from fatigue which can seriously affect your decision making.

Still, those last three tries should have been defended.

I was happy Val had a better game tonight, he still has defensive issues but I thought he got involved tonight and was sniffing around the ruck quite often. His “try” was scintillating. I had my son with me tonight, he loves Val and was cheering like mad when he went over. I had to try and explain to him why it was denied. I don’t think he quite understood.

At the time I couldn’t see much from the replays on the big screen and I wasn’t happy the try wasn’t given. But after seeing it a few times now I think the right call was made.

For me, the good thing is that we are winning games while not playing anywhere near 100%.

If we can get all our players back soon it’ll make a huge difference.

We’re still not a top four team. Even if we go on a winning streak, making the bottom half of the eight is the best we can do.

I don't think it stings us - Seggy is going well, made immediate impact tonight as well. Our forwards across the board are doing a great job with extra minutes/FG promotions due to the injuries ect.

In the heat of the moment I think it's unrealistic to expect a fast run away player to worry about a possible penalty and not go for the tryline if it's open, he already committed himself to the play when he ran around Moylan, if it was obvious to him maybe he would have got himself tackled, or maybe he was hopeful it doesn't get reviewed but more likely he's not even thinking about that stuff, just to keeping running

You're a ********

Souths picked ponga apart last night

Their second and 4th try had nothing to do with Val

Oh yes he did on those two .
Either you were pissed and /or should have gone to Specsavers .
2nd try ran straight through him clutching on tryline .
3rd Try , badly positioned , not following the pl exay and still made no effort in case the grubber bounced in his direction .
4th Try , after Prior missed Moses , he then ran thru Val's clutching hands again to score that too .
Watch the replay before hurling insults , then you won't look so stupid , not that you would appologise .
Even if Ponga played one bad game defensively ( I didn't see that game ). He is still 10 X a more natural and talented fullback even at a younger age.
Val played well in attack tonight , but even with many games at fullback , he still gets it horribly wrong in defence .
Agree ?

Why arent you picking chad apart for his effort on french?
The jennings try, why not pick the winger for not reading a 5th tackle grubber?
Because you are a clown thats why.

Oh and the 4th try, a spread where the front line had 4 attempts on 4 different players and Moses shrugged off Prior and embarrassed our left edge but yeh sure, thats Vals fault.

Reckon Fifita is picking up some decent Dally M points the last few rounds.
Chad has been playing well also but I reckon Fifita is probably getting them due to being a higher profile player.

I know you guys can check (somewhere) but I'm not sure where, so maybe someone can post them up???

Can’t remember who it was, but that was a fair offload going to ground for their 4th try, they certainly had a tidal wave of momentum.. had to chuckle at press conference they said to flanno “Brad Arthur thought if it got 2 golden point they had the roll on and would have won” flanno agreed only for wade to chime in with “lucky for us he missed it” they both looked at each other grinning and smirking. We have a truck load of experience sitting in the stands and bench injured with that experience is the ability to close a game out, so I’m not going to tear shreds off anyone. Raiders will b a big test next week.

Dugan reads the opposition's attack a whole lot better.than Val
Bigger body too .
No way Parra score the 2nd with Dugan defending that and a good chance Moses ends up buried in the Summertime Bar instead of the 4th try.
Yes , others made mistakes , but you can't seem to acknowledge Val had flaws in defence .
Even the coach acknowledges that , but you know better .
Jeeze , take off the Maroon tinted welding goggles .

Well you'd expect someone who's played fullback for years on end to be better in defence.

That's very true HB .
BUT to have Snowman NOT acknowledge Val's shortcomings . Then hurl abuse about the 2nd and 4th try , is ludicrous .

If Val keeps that form up while Duges is out it's going to be very interesting to see what Flanno does.

We'd lose Ramian at right centre
Or gain Katoa ( preferred ) or Ramian at wing
That's not a horrible scenario .
But I think Flanno does want Dugan at fullback .
