Did anyone think when we were 0-4 that we would then be 3-4. After beating Roosters, Knights and Rabbitohs no less.

Worked late, so I just caught the replay. Outstanding completion rate considering the dismal weather. Ennis is quickly becoming the heart of our team.

Massive shout out to everyone who made it out there tonight in those atrocious conditions - can't praise that dedication enough, and thankfully you were awarded for it with a great victory!

Great win Sharkies. We have always thrived on adversity and tonight was a great win from a team of tough men laying the platform for a great season. Thanks for the effort we appreciate it.

Wouldn't be the sharks if we weren't complaining about a centre. Beale defended well but 7 games in has offered little in attack...i think. Wouldn't mind if he was dropped and a winger or Flash moved in to get barba off the bench.

Beale's starting to improve attacking wise, as is the whole team. Heck in the last two games Beale has given two high pressure passes that have lead to try's.

First was the pass to Holmes that lead to Lewis' try against the Knights, second was tonight for Gordon's. Been a while since we've had a centre that can produce those passes.

If we need to get Barba of the bench the answer is simple, drop Gordon.

It's no coincidence since our ball handling/completions have improved in our last three games that we now have 3 wins on the trot.

37/41 completions in atrocious conditions like last night is bloody awesome! Defence was brilliant too.

Well done Sharkies....and keep that discipline - Fafita and Gallen watch and learn!

Haven't read any of the forum after the game. What a gutsy effort by our boys, so proud. I've said it before but Ennis is more important to our team than Gal, love this go.

What a great night at Shark Park! One that I'll certainly remember for a long, long time!

The boys were simply far hungrier than the Bunnies last night, who simply looked like they were going through the motions, especially in the second half. I think they felt they just had to run out in the second half and the wind would blow them home.

What they didn't count on was the Sharks determination in defence. The second half hitting by the Sharks was just brutal. They were getting up off the line, time and time again and hitting the big Souths forwards, who just couldn't get going.

Luke Lewis and Wade Graham made some exceptional hits last night that consistently put the Bunnies on the back foot. Ennis and Robsons kicking in the second half was also very impressive into gale force winds.
To achieve a 90% completion rate in those conditions is nothing short of miraculous. Flanno should be proud of the way the boys performed last night, it was an almost perfect display of wet weather football.

I drove home completely soaked but I couldn't have been happier!

You guys who stood in a cyclone and cheered the team home are already part of rugby league folklore

I was really surprised neither team tried a 40-20 with the win behind them last night.

They could have kicked the ball inside the 20 and still gotten a 40-20.

Wade had a crack that just missed

Control not distance would have been the problem. It's easier to kick a ball off a kicking tee than off the hands in any conditions
But in last nights conditions ensuring the ball didn't go out on the full would have been by difficult

Yeah thats true about Wade, I was at the game and was sitting just up from Wades 40-20 and I can tell your right now the touchie got it wrong. It was about a metre passed the 20.

Yeah controlling the kick would have been hard Sharkstragic. I still think it would have been better to just kick it on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th tackle and even if it goes dead it's better than completing your 6 tackles and getting sweet f$%k all metres out of it. Inglis was standing about 40m behind his defensive line, he knew 40-20's were on.

Also, you risked giving the opposition a 7 tackle set in a night that was already hard to make metres.

7 tackles is fine when the wind was like it was last night. The teams weren't making many metres. I'd prefer make them work it out from their 20 and hope for a knock on.
