It can be compared as in context of both games they were equally as important and considering conditions (and our forwards out) and that it also included big hits

But I did say this one against Souths wasn't as good but memorable all the same

Agree

Solid win from the boys. Lewis and Ennis were huge. Good to see Taga running hard aswell, hopefully he sneaks into the 17 on Sunday at Penrith.

Watched the replay of the 2nd half last night. Geez Souths didn't really take advantage of the conditions at all in their favour - they really didn't have any killer instinct. On the other hand we were strong and obviously wanted the win more than they did. Yes, Lewis, Ennis and Heighno were great - think I got my 3-2-1 wrong in the ratings thread, Bird played well but he didn't really deserve 2 points over Ennis and Heighno.

When you think of who we had unavailable we did really well - Nu Brown, Gagan, Fifita 1 & 2 and Gal, we were short on some troops. The only player they missed was Reynolds, he would have had the kicking game to beat us.

I doubt either of these two would be in the side if fit. Barba has the bench spot and with Val and Flash interchanging throughout the game there's no spot for Gagan. The other three are definitely losses though.

If was fit trial Nu Brown at 7 at training at the expense of Robson and try develop his organising skills. We would then have 2 attacking options in the halves. Anyone can do what Robson does out there except maybe the defense side of things and his grubbers don't seem to be a big part of his game anymore for whatever reason

Also if fit I would have no drama with giving Gagan Gordons wing spot and that's not because I think Gordon is terrible just that Gagan was fantastic out there last year

The more I run that game through in my mind, we really had them at the end. The only Bunny who had a bit of go left was one of the Burgess Mutants. The others were all busted and knew that we had beat them up badly.

Our boys knew it too and will take a huge advantage into our next game against the Bunnies.
