i agree we blow some attacking opportunties, we were also below our best. as i said the ref mistakes were key ones.
i feel robbed, imagine one of manly,s try not being scored cause the ref got the call right. then if cherry evans was
penalised instead of winning the scrum and us being on attack in good postion instead of cherry evans kicking field goal
we may have been able to score the match winning try. we may have still lost but it would be nice for the ref not to have
such a large bearing on the game.
Mate the refs were poor for both teams. They missed a million forward passes on both sides. I don't think John Morris has thrown one pass backwards this year. And that call on Graham could have been a penalty to the Sea Eagles. As I saw it Graham pushed Cherry Evans in the head causing him to lose balance and his right leg to move up...could have been a penalty.
It was our basic game plan and poor execution that cost us again. Gallen popped up in that backline a dozen times today for no result. Actually there was a result, the play died. Morris offered nothing in attack as usual, Robson continues to play in no man's land when running that backline and we have a team made up of mostly back rowers. Our effort was there but nothing has changed, especially Flanagan's win percentage.
