Cheers for the info Chad.

Does anyone know if Beale has a reasonable kick in his booty?

Well Egg got me as well, but only for the few seconds it took me to read the rest of the thread! Good one Egg!

Plausible scenario though:

GAL: Geez you ****ed up on Saturday night Wade. Why the **** did you throw that stupid pass for?
WADE: Well, why the **** do you hog the ball and get in the way of all the backline plays?
GAL: It's for the good of the team mate, you would be nothing if I wasn't here.
WADE: You're kidding, how big's your head mate?
GAL: Are you saying I'm an arrogant prick?
WADE: That's exactly what I'm saying.
GAL: OK then, have this! (throws big punch)
WADE: ****, have some of this then! (Wade punches back and it's on)

See, totally plausible...

You're not wrong . Especially if you add the Essendon not guilty news to the mix .
Golden response from you .loved it :)

I'm shutting up the Flanno hate till Monday based on that team list. Bird at 5/8 is a ballsy play, one that I didn't think our coach had in him. No doubt Wade will handle the kicking for him would be my guess. Best of luck to all concerned.
It is ballsy and I won't be knocking him if we lose this one. Having said he can see we will be 0 from 8 in quick time if we don't do something drastic.

I am of the view Gordon should go altogether. Sad, but he is just holding out better players on the wing now.

Gagan is injured this week so I guess he can hang on for now at least.

Another good thing about Bird playing(especially if at 5/8) is there is more onus on our much vaunted Forward pack to step up, fire up and make sure the kids protected. I saw close at hand in the Melbourne game that we aren't as dominant in the middle as i'd hoped for some reason. No better week to stand up, than this week methinks.

I can almost guarantee you Bird won't be at 6.

Why name him at 6 then?

Because Flanno's a tricky bugger. The Roosters will train all week planning on our team being as named. They won't know what hit them when that isn't the case. Flanno is a genius mate, ahead of his time.

I think my Sarcasm detector just exploded. I don't see the point of naming someone at 6 and then not playing them there.
If it is as Chad says and they aren't playing him at 6, if he knows it then rest assured the Roosters are planning for it (not that it will matter anyway)

Mate, I'm with you, I don't see the point of naming him at six either if he isn't going to play there.

We all know it worked
Once for flanno when he played a u/11 semi final.. A dad come up to his coach after the game and said you tricked us, hence he has run with this chess master stoke his whole coaching career.

This is how it goes - Flanno knows that the roosters know that Bird knows that Flanno knows he isn't playing at 6. But Flanno knows the roosters know that he knows they know that Bird knows that Flanno knows he isn't playing at 6 so because he already knows that they know and we know and everybody knows in the end nobody knows exactly who knows what.

That is Flanno logic 101.

his hamstring injuries are rather concerning actually, wonder if it's the same leg all three times

they are a concern. They are a big concern. Especially early in his career. As good as he can be, if he will go missing for ⅔ of a season thats not acceptable. Is he not fully fit while being played? Is he fully fit but his running style or stretching is causing the greif? Has he not spoken to cesare6t9 about hammy advice
