I almost lept out of my seat when Pom attempted the back slam, just couldnt lift him up enough, should have heard the panthers fans, they wanted him to get penalised and be sent off, i stood up, yelling POMSLAM... then told them to get back in their box and enjoy the loss.. hahaha

Just watched the replay, it was more Robson's fault than Jez. Robson went for an arm grab. If he'd just done a little bit more effort Jez was there to bring the pain.

Robson was arm grabbing aswell. Go for the legs robbo

Or swing an arm up around the shoulder and wait for Jez or something. It really was inexcusable.

Dunno what Wade was doing either but probably trying to charge down a kick. Can't remember if it was the last or not.

Was most certainly Wade Graham rushing up and Jeremy Smith was about 3-4 metres behind the rest of the line, 1 up and 1 back = big hole to run straight through.

I don't subscribe to the we played terrible for 50 minutes. I thought in the first half we played quite well. The try we scored with Gallen / Graham was no different than the Austin try, isolating a man and making him decide whether the ball will go out the back to a strike player or is the decoy runner getting the ball. If you are to give credit to the sharkies for creating this play and then slam them when they don't defend a similar play in defense you are being very harsh and bias.

The second half was very concerning. They came out slow and a bit unenthusiastic for the first 10-15 minutes which set the tone for a Panthers come back. Might be a bit harsh on Gards, but if he doesn't drop that bomb, i don't think the Panthers come screaming back at us the way they did.

Their attack is certainly not gelled yet and not where they want it, however there are signs in each game that elements of the attack are improving.

If they do manage to put 2 solid 40 minute halves together in both defense and attack, they will not get beat.

So far we haven't had 1 game of 2 solid halves of footy. This is the perfect week to do it against one of our most hated.

Wades run in opened the gap so he started the process but robbo should of covered. Poor on both wades and robbos account. Was the 4th tackle m.b and how good was poms hit from the next kick off

Agreed, that's why I was amazed that some Panthers fans were blowing up about the refs. Very strange.

With regards to Gardner dropping the ball, I was just waiting for someone to say he should be dropped for Pickerd so I could tear them a new one as Pickerd did the exact same thing in the NYC game and it ended up being the turning point of the game.

Just watching parts of the replay. Our first try was a beauty. The work from smith was outstanding and jace ran such a great line. Toopoo I hope your watching cause that is what you should be doing. Gee Im happy for jace. We could all see it in him good that he has produced it. Has been outstanding this year. Gal came racing in to congratulate him and was very happy. Also that try was a direct result by having someone with the presence like carney in the team. For all money it looked like smith would pass to carney and that is what went through Travis burns mind also

With 2 good halves and 3 backrowers + Wade off the bench, that have great abilities to set up perfect offloads and be there at the right time, we might have finally got a winning combination to take on the big sides.

Bakuya is the one capitalising on it at the moment, good to see!

Todd carneys jump up in the air and fist pump was also funny when jace was running over

The bloke absolutely loves to win and is a massive competitor... like Gal, Degois and a few others. These are the players i want in the side constantly. Because their desire to win pushes them on.

Some of the others don't display the same passion. That's not to say that they may not harbour the same desire, but it's not as evident at times.

RE the gards dropping, fact of the matter is we don't have a fullback who could perform better at present anyway, stapo injured, gordon injured (and probably a bit unfit given an interrupted preseason) and pickerd who is too green.

Would you guys persevere or look for another fullback?
