Was most certainly Wade Graham rushing up and Jeremy Smith was about 3-4 metres behind the rest of the line, 1 up and 1 back = big hole to run straight through.
I don't subscribe to the we played terrible for 50 minutes. I thought in the first half we played quite well. The try we scored with Gallen / Graham was no different than the Austin try, isolating a man and making him decide whether the ball will go out the back to a strike player or is the decoy runner getting the ball. If you are to give credit to the sharkies for creating this play and then slam them when they don't defend a similar play in defense you are being very harsh and bias.
The second half was very concerning. They came out slow and a bit unenthusiastic for the first 10-15 minutes which set the tone for a Panthers come back. Might be a bit harsh on Gards, but if he doesn't drop that bomb, i don't think the Panthers come screaming back at us the way they did.
Their attack is certainly not gelled yet and not where they want it, however there are signs in each game that elements of the attack are improving.
If they do manage to put 2 solid 40 minute halves together in both defense and attack, they will not get beat.
So far we haven't had 1 game of 2 solid halves of footy. This is the perfect week to do it against one of our most hated.
