Poor result, not a good game by any stretch of the imagination. The try Pom knocked the ball back to (was it Robo or Ryan) was awesome. We were sitting on the family hill.

Apart from the result we enjoyed ourselves. Had a family day out in sydney, followed by the footy, drove home after the game back to taree.

1 gripe, and I hope this guy is on the forum, cos i remeber what he looks like, and i bet he can't man up and say it was him, after the game in the $15 car parking on the western side of the field, we were just about to drive off when some guys missus who couldnt handle her grog leaning up against our car is spewin her guts up. I got out, and reasonably asked her to spew somewhere else, to which her husband tells me 'if i were you id get in your car and ****ing drive off ****'. This is in front of our 2 kids. I told him settle down, i just dont want her spewin on my car (i think thats fair enough) to which he replied, I told you once ****, drive away before i kick your face in. Then started shaping up

This guy was in his 40s, semi ginger guy, wearing glasses. If i didnt have the kids with me, it woulda been on. So if that guys is on the forum, id like it if you manned up, so i can at least tell you in advance about what will happen at the next home game. Cos i wont have the kids with me. To get rowdy cos we asked, not told, ya missus to spew elsewhere, cos i had a 3 year old watchin the vomit come out her mouth 2 inchs from his head, shows what a gronk **** he was

i remember what he looks like, and if i see him at the next game, I will put u on your arse

Mate I'm sorry to hear. That is crap. I hope it hasnt detered you from bringing the family again. People like this should be ashamed of themselves. If you cant handle your grog go do your stuff in a private spot...seriously..people these days dont have any morals !

my views on the game - dragons completely dominated from word go..there forwards smashed ours and their backs were to good......jason nightingale is an example of the type of backs we need at this club to win the premiership..... ive said it for years and ill say it again.... matt wright, jono wright and jeff robson to do not cut it !!! Also, I really dont understand what has happenned to I.DeGois....he just isnt the same as he used to...im sure the reason Bennett released him... in reality to won this premiership we need one more centre, wing, halfback, hooker and probably another prop however Gibbs will be back..... Tupou has got to go for 450k... and we need to buy a quality centre...just look at Souths, Manly and Melb...anyways Im sure we will be back...hope Carney will be back soon ... I guess this is a chance for Townsend to show us all what he is made of.

exactly right. This guy, sadly enough was wearing his Sharks colours too. But my missus opened the door and said can you please hop off the car and he started callin her a slut n ****. If the kids werent there it would have ended with that dude out cold. My step kids have been exposed to domestic violence since day 1, some gronk prick with a chip on his shoulder cos his footy team lost is not going to do that **** in front of them (we had actually borrowed my mothers car to take down yesterday, as our rav4 is a bit thirsty on fuel and i hate driving it. Its a brand new car, which she protects with her life, so i was doing the same.

I will take my family down again, but i think what goes on outside the stadium is pretty poor. People walkin on the road ****in blind drunk etc. Its 1 thing to get on the piss and have fun, its another to put ya life at risk being a tool.

Carney's kicking hasn't been all bad. Are you guys forgetting the 3 x 40/20s from 3 games or the pin point cross field kick onto Ryan's chest?

Robbo, likewise, isn't all bad. His long kicks suck, they always find the man on the full. But in close he often has the knack and composure to put through the grubber when we've been under the pump and need a repeat set at worst.

The problem is consistency, and that goes for both blokes. Carney made a **** kick last night, floated nicely to a defender on the full in goals. The grubber would've been the only kicking option there from that range for any team wishing to build pressure or score from a kick, and he should know that.

Totally agree, has been a glaring weakness since Noddy left.

Example, instead of going for the repeat set, carney try's a banana kick to no one and they catch it in the Ingoal uncontested.

Does my head in, we are not Melbourne, and it shows.

Carney has had the ball on a string in the last 3 games, and Robson hasn't been bad he just isn't a dominant half. That's what was missing last night, someone to take control.

Summed it up pretty well. Especially the part about Carney's nothing kick. No one must of known it was on cause there were no chasers.

I think our lack of big men up front (apart from Fifita) is starting to show, our pack might be mobile and all that but they dont dominate at all,the Dragons pack killed us & were without Weyman.

I hope we find another option than Graham at 5/8 as he's developing this diagonal run which
only serves to bunch the centre/2nd rower who is the receiver and the defence can see
it coming a mile away. Poor old Robson needs to get with someone and practise long kicks with
variety as on the full to the opposition, under no pressure, is not good enough.

On the whole our passing game is too slow and we don't look organised. Very impressed
by Fafita's continued progress and appreciate the safety of the back three.

I too have made this claim several times. It's a simple fact that if you don't move up you're giving the opponents 10m every tackle, at the least. You run yourselves a bit more ragged but seriously, a professional athlete would have to be incredibly unfit to not be able to run forward 5m then back 10m, five times in a row, 40 times per game. That's only 3km at a jogging pace.

The Brisbane game last year, Wade fired the boys up, we were up fast and we destroyed them, we squeezed the life out of them. That kind of enthusiasm is what wins games and wins them easily. Let's see it.

We are woeful in two of the most critical positions on the park, hooker and halfback. Until we adress this we are certainly not a top 4 team, 7th or 8th at best.

I'll second that. It seems like Flanno will stick with Robson all year, but he may make some changes at hooker, seeing as he switched them for this game after one good game from Morris. It would be great to see Lichaa get a short from the bench once he's fit and has a few games under his belt. I guess as long as the NSW cup team keeps winning and players like Chad keep getting man of the match, it will give Flanno good reason to consider changes.
