We don't go so well. But maybe if we don't have Gal out there at the start, we wont go so well early.

The way it is now we have Gal out there the whole time, which means we have the inferior players out there for less time. To be honest, I'd rather have a slightly tired Gallen out there then an inferior bench player.

The only positive I can see going into this game is that we disposed of them earlier this year. But I really can't see a repeat of that, not even close.

And no way can you start with Gal on the bench. We have such quality starts, now you want to get rid of one of the key players involved in that period of game time?

No to Gal starting on the bench - but maybe a short rest would do him some good.

after watching todays game the roosters are going to be feeling it on friday night. that was a physical game and remember its a 5 day turn around for them. i reckon if we can stick with them we will get em in the last 20 mins of the game..

if i was picking the team this week it would look something like this

1.Gardner
2.Gordon
3.Collis
4.Pomeroy
5.Ferguson
6.Barrett
7.Smith
8.Snowden
9.Morris
10.Douglas
11.Millington
12.Tupou
13.Gallen

14.Cordoba
15.Mannah
16.Aiton
17.Vave

Smith in for Porter basically because ports offers little to nothing in attack, i like ports but really needs to work on his attack, And watching smith play
NSW cup on the weekend made me realise he has turned a corner, Passing was crisp and clean, short kicking was on the money, kicked a brilliant 40/20 and was defending really well IMO

Brod Wright is a waste of space, comes on and works for one set in defence and one set in attack and goes missing for the rest of his stint

Tautai opens up our right hand side defence so much its not funny, he doesnt miss that many tackles but is very lazy in cover and lateral defence

with the bench i would be rotating Cordoba with Millington and using Vave and Mannah as our prop rotation (Mannah on limited minutes due to fitness at the moment)

Smith needs to be called up, AK deserves a chance off the bench and bring Gordon back.

Watching kittens being skinned alive would be less disturbing than this massacre will be.

Carney and Pearce will have a field day up the middle of our lazy ruck and marker work. SKD playing down Covell's side; **** knows what sort of point scoring records he'll break.

Gordon needs to play instead of covell, and Gards needs to be sniffing Gallens ******* the whole game. Id love to see Ak get a run on the bench and really rip into the roosters in the last 30mins or something. like someone already said the roosters are going to be ****ed after that game with the dragons and we have a chance to really rip them a new one. Gards,Gordon,Fergo,Poms,AK if these guys can come more in feild sniffing around the play the ball we can cause some serious damage

i cant agree with you more! yeah covell can kick but we r using 1 of the slowest wingers in the game in stead of one of the fastest

at least ike has speed. and that's something. unfortunately for covell, who is one of my favourite sharks i think his time has come to move on. he is looking more and more out of his depth out there.

tough times but flanno should experiment now when it doesn't really matter. it's not like we've got stacks of incoming troops that will dramatically change our squad. flake should already be gone and covell (sad it may be) has to go too. that means isaac and stapo in on the wings. we need spark in the halves and aiton on the park for 80. morris on bench but not for aiton; tauti, vave and harlen or another (?) with him. i'm no coaching genius and have probably just proved exactly that but for ffs one can't have tried nothing and be all out of ideas... go sharks.

I should be able to come to this one.

If not, I'm gonna try live-blogging it from my lounge.

It's a deadset joke.

They have the 7:30-9:30pm games so Queensland gets their live game.

That means the Ponies v Eels will be shown live in both states.

Defeats the purpose of having the two games really.

Sanity would tell you that our game should be live into Sydney.
