well, what was shaping us as a good day, with NSW Cup and NYC both entertaining games, both on and off the field and sledging the Manly players during the warm up [they were awesome, taking it in good fun and all having a laugh about it]..then kick off happened and i gave up pretty quickly.

he's a wanker through and through
he eats for a family of 2
you fat bastard
you fat bastard
you ate all the pies

Jamie Lyon looks like a Macca's family meal

all i will say is, that first half matched the attitude of the coach.

you know your team is **** when you have to boo them off at halftime.

didn't get home till Midnight, train was stuck at Granville due to a bloody all in brawl on the platform

**** you Cronulla

There were a few people near were I was who left.

I know it was a hard game to digest and I'm not having a go at anyone.
I understand and respect your decision and that it was your choice.

But we have to give all the support we can, even more through this period that we are going through at the moment.
It is hard being a Sharks support but that's half the fun. :D

Drag Queen territory.
It was my first ever game and I left at halftime.

I can stand losing, or I wouldn't be a Sharks supporter. I can't stand heartless performances like that first half.

You got ****ing issues if you find this fun old mate.

No issues, :gal: It was a figure of speech.

After 30+ years of support, I sort of get use to the ups and downs other wise I'll go insane.

:good: agree 100% with if you think its a joke to leave early

I never said it was a joke to leave early, please read my post again.

The fun part was the joy of supporting the Sharks through the good and bad as frustrating as it is at times.

I'm 99% convinced a third stayed for the first forty just for the chance to boo the boys off at half time. Haha!

No. It's just that last line that got up my nose, that was the reason for my response.

I stayed. I don't really blame anyone who left, aside from anything else it was bloody cold. But you missed seeing another special Gardner try haha.

I stayed, support the team through thick and thin. At least we won the 2nd half.

Thankfully I was out and didn't witness this ****. Drumming something up for next Saturday at the moment so I don't have to see it in real life.

I really can't see why everything will miraculously turn around once Stuart leaves.

Something has to happen though. I'm glad the 'BELIEVE' thing isn't too descriptive because my belief at the moment is that we're starring down the barrel of a Souths like dynasty from the early 2000's. We'll actually be worse next year with current players going and nothing new of any quality signing up for a ride on the Titanic.

Thank **** for booze! We're gonna need plenty of it over the next few years.
I don't have any inside source, but all I hear is that there are things in the pipeline, that will be announced once Flano is the main man. I'll wait and see and BELIEVE. :glasses-cool:

All this talk about Tim Smith is getting on my nerves. It is like sheep on here (Not you Teflon, you admitted from the start, you didn't like Smith). Same thing happened with, Pom, Simmons and Noddy to name a few. Once one person says something, it gains momentum and they become the scapegoat.

I have to agree with on Smith, Simmo and Kimmorley.

Smith was far from our worst last night. The team was awful andhe shouldn't be singled out, but ...

Ben Pomeroy is not, has never been and will never be a first grade standard player. Go back and watch some tapes from 2008. Pomeroy was just as bad as he is now, but because we were winning it didn't matter.

I didn't leave at halftime but I did however go for a clockwise walk of shame around the ground to walk my blues away.
