i didnt see much of the game live, it is impossible to see out of the pig head on the hogs breath suit.
if you ever get a chance to do it, i recommend you do, its a completely different way to enjoy the game.
also, if anyone has small kids on here and i didnt give a hi 5 to them, i apologise, but as i stated, it is extremely difficult to see out of.

on the night, i asked the boys who was man of the match and who i should give my 3-2-1 to, and they said fifita followed by carney, i will stay with that, but after watching the replay, i have no doubt todd was best on ground. 4 try assists and a 40/20.

if you take fifita's long range try out of it, his 150m is pretty average on the scheme of things, but 2 tries and a scott sattler like tackle i guess were stand out plays. it just amazes me that a panel of experts think the same as 5 guys on the piss.

now, onto the game:

i dont like bagging flanno, i am not a fan of his, and i openly admit that, but when do you learn from your mistakes? mills spilt alot of ball at fullback and yet he kept him there. freakin unbelievable.
stapo, for all his averageness, has arguably the best hands in the nrl and is as safe as houses, yet he left mills to be isolated. super coach.
but, in saying that, i dont think mills scores stapos try.

for all the stapo lovers hi fiving over that, where is his low 5 for his terrible wing defence? his reads were poor on 2 tries, and his attempt at shoulder charge on bodene thompson was comical. in saying that, he had a solid game, and i dont think he deserves to be dropped.

fifita is an animal. wow, just wow. his long range try is second in my eyes to fui fui's in the 09 grand final. it was that good. thought he was a bit soft in contact though, but he has had to deal with origin, so can be forgiven.

i thought that was carney's best game for us all year, and he has had some good ones. its obvious that his foot is still troubling him, so he found different ways to be dominant without a running game. i also thought robson contributed well by having a couple of cracks a few meters out from the line.

luke lewis defence at centre needs some work on, but it has been about 7 years since he played there. i am happy for him to stay there s long as pom never plays again for us.

unlucky to toups on his injury, thought he was looking good out there,. the one thing i like about toops is after contact his legs keep pumpming, he has big hips and thighs, so he is difficult to tackle. someone called him the hardest person in league to tackle when he is on, i agree with that.

thought everyone else chipped in really well, but i still dont understand the taga to prop love. imo, ross is the better option than him. so what if he sent an encouraging tweet to a junior player looking to prosper their career. atleast he was honest, unlike our coach, who through the asada investigation, has been found out to be a pathological liar.

heading to brisbane, i think the best option for our team to run out is

gordon
stapo
feki
wright
ryan
carney
robson
gibbs
morris
ross
bukuya
heino
graham

taga
taufua
de gois
peachey

mills
sopoaga

if gordon is out, ryan to fullback, mills to the wing.

if they are both out, matt wright to fullback, mills on the wing.

i know i know, matt wright is ****. unfortunately none of us can play first grade, and the guy played 20 games there in 2012.

gards is still injured which hurts.

anyways, a win is a win, the second half was ****, but oh well. atleast we found some fighting spirit to win the game, and not blow it ala parra last year.

I didn't get close enough to Snowy to get a high five. Evertonshark and Gil told me who was in the suit that night - great effort Snowman. By the way Snowy, still haven't met you - Everton tells me that deep down you are a really nice bloke - that can't be true can it????

When I went to Henson with him I thought he was just going to put **** on me all day, obviously the guy was intimidated by my knowledge and good looks and he became my bitch.

The guy also can't handle his beers, unlike me ;)

Well it was another great night at Remondis Stadium. Met Everton, Chad (Confirmed is not actually Chad Townsend) and BWB along with the usual suspects

Thanks to Snowman for the great seats in the cage and well done in the Hog Suit. Was never a dull moment in there.

It was encouraging to see the Sharks kept going for tries in the second half when their lead was shrinking instead of shutting up shop and trying to defend it out till full-time. If they did the latter they would have lost.

Stapo's & Fifita's tries were major lol's and highlights of mine. Having no Pom's out there let me breathe alot easier but still heart attack central when when let the Tigers back in
