Yeah that has been a disappointment in other years. But this time Broncos have alot less depth. They are stretched as it is so they will be in trouble. Broncos without Lockyer, Hodges, Wallace, Hunt. They will be in big trouble.

it is a home game but there was talk of moving it to Suncorp for money reasons.

They havent mentioned it since the initial mention, plus the last 2 sharks crowds have been good crowds so they wont move it. There would be a backlash. Will be at shark park.

It’s irrelevant. We now have a much, much better backline. The backline was always our problem. It is just a coincident that Gal did not play.

i will add that its a shame the broncs game is a monday night game because IF we do beat the raiders we could've gotten a great crowd for a sunday game.

Yeah well i could see an argument being made that he dominates and touches the ball so much it makes the rest of our backrow not play as well and they really step up when he is gone.

Add to that the rumour that as captain it was said that he told players if he called for the ball they had to pass to him, which means the other team always knew if Gallen was around he would get the ball, which hurt our attacking options.

That being said... Gallen has probably been the best backrower in the comp and probably our best player. Him returning will only strengthen our team.

We may have won 2 since he has been gone but dont forget, we beat an Eels side who didnt have hayne, a decent halves combination or Inu and then beat the Warriors because we finally had some confidence from the win the week before. Gallen being gone is a coincidence imo.

Thats the thing, sharks can beat almost any team if they focus. But when they are not in the right frame of mind they can lose to any team (as they have shown this year).
