was just watching the replay (dont ask why)
but i had to smile when gus and co. started commenting on shark park being like the bermuda triangle, perfectly calm weather then teams suddenly get wiped out by the something mysterious haha oppsition teams have dissapeared here, even team buses have fallen off the earth here.....was worth a laugh.....
I think the home side is the one dissapearing these days. Guessing those comments were made before the Bronocos scored...
I was at the game. $10 general admin was great deal and couldn't be stuffed waiting till 9:30pm for the delayed telecast. Decent crowd as well which was good particuarly considering playing an interstate team although their were a bunch of broncos supporters there that's for sure.
Overall a lazy effort by the boys.
Seeing TT come in with a arm slap as an excuse for a tackle and leaving poor Townsend to tackle a backrower on his own on the goal line has done it for me.
No more TT please.
And what about Wade's break then a poor pass to Best who puts it on his shin and essentially kicks it straight to the fullback. lol Our halves and centres working in the true Sharks style oh dear. Despite the pass I reckon Best could have made the effort to catch that and at least keep the momentum even if we didn't score in the same play. I think Wade had the right idea instead of taking the tackle he saw a good opportunity to pass but execution was poor. Well good experience for him and hope he continues to break the line as he seems to be doing every game now.
Stapo was not good in this game, catching some balls on the full should be expected, not a qualifier for having a decent game. I don't really recall him needing to catch any under real pressure. But I like him and hope he can find a place and contribute in the future.
Dust yourselves off Sharkies, now you have a real job ahead of you of winning essentially all your remaining games. Give up now and my respect will really falter...
Townsends kicking was better than what we have had recently I thought but still far from where we need to be.
