I don't think barba was all bad, whilst his kicking was atrocious I thought in our limited set plays he looked quick and dangerous with a good ball to put Feki in.

Robbo was our best kicker tonight which is a shock, he had 3 or 4 decent bombs that fell just short of the line. However our chasers didn't once look to contest them, like in defence they just wait for the ball to drop. Have we not had a kicking game so long that we don't know what to do with a high ball?

Val in for Brown needs to happen and has already been said.
Happy for bird to come in as a backrower as I think Ricky and Beale did enough to keep their spots. However won't complain if he gets a centre gig either.

Robbos bombs fell too short for us to contest . Landed around the 10m line , our guys would of had to run before scoring. Only good kicks were from Ennis and even he had some bad ones

Just curious... No one is mentioning Gagan for Browns wing spot. From everything i saw last season he deserves it back again once he recovers from his injury. I'm loving Val as much as anyone, but he's a fullback, and Bird is a centre/2nd rower... Surely the side is stronger with players in their right positions?

I disagree. Bird for Beale. Beale is hugely overrated, always has been. Ricky can hold that left side and Bird can slot in on the right. There was nothing wrong with Gordon tonight. Holmes should really have been in for Brown and rotated with Gordon all night. That would have been smart...enough said.

Spot on Sutty, Ricky have talent and ability to occasionally beat a few players on his own but seems to lack a basic fundamental of setting up and passing to his outside man (with the exception of leaving him half an inch of room)

important new guys coming into our system was always fraught with the unknown.

the broncs will be smarting after a home loss to the rabbits.
so we need to up the intensity 10 fold, especially with a short turn around looming.
