i hate the wests tigers so much along with the broncos, cowboys and the dragons, don't mind penrith and canberra as much.

Same here 195, I cannot stand Wests Tigers, Broncs and obviously Dragons although I don't mind Cowboys and Penrith and Canberra are OK. I do however feel a bit of jealousy toward the Panthers, they came into the comp in the same year as us in 67 and already have 2 or 3 premierships under their belt...

they have 2 premierships, but they were in 1991 and 2003 (i loved the 2003 grand final because my mates are roosters supporters and i rubbed it in their faces, because i went against their choice for the winner).
i'm a passionate sharks supporter, BUT i'm just sick of the "there is always next year" mentality, but having said that i'm glad that we are focusing on the comp one year at a time, but we are also preparing for the future.

BRING ON 07!!!!!

rothfield also picked kimmorley to win the dally m last year if i remember right. he has to get one right sooner or later, lets hope it's his prediction for the premiers that he gets right, and not one of the other predictions.

I will be happy with week 2 of the semis for next year, the year after should be our realistic target.

If we had of continued are form from the first part of the season into the 2nd kimorley would have won the dally m by a mile....... He ended up being in the top 10 with pauly and was around about 10 or so points off so i think this year he can go all the way, him or pauly..........Does any1 know who was our last dally M winner??

This so called sharks fan should hand in his membership!!! Again today he is dragging the sharks down in his blog @ the telegraph. He continues to threaten to walk into the club and hand his membership in. I say do it and leave the sharks alone, he's not a real fan!!

On a number of occasions I have put in my two cents trying to be fair to the Sharks & today Gallen and my comments are never published.
He love's to side with Sharks haters.
I stated that it is only fair we hear Gallen's defense before he was fined. In the SMH it is stated that Galllen claims he was misheard and would like to contest the fine. There is no known audio of the incident or any formal complaints been made by Paea.
Phil is saying that neither Gallen nor his manager have disputer him calling Paea a Black C%Nt though the SMH states otherwise.

Gallens a good bloke and should be given a fair go...

Im really fed up with his **** journalism, today the media was actually good to the sharks talking about their plan with the nrl to survive and how we are on the way up.
But he has too throw in his 2 cents and bring up crap.
Seriously phil stick up for the club you support or **** off.

The problem with the DT blogs is that they screen all the comments and they can pick and choose which ones they will publish.

They will usually publish a vast majority of comments that agree with the blogger. They will occasionally publish those that don’t agree with the blogger, but they are usually overly emotional and do not usually make sensible arguments.

This is irresponsible of the Daily Telegraph as they make it appear as though it is an open forum when clearly it is not. They always skew it to be as sensationalist as possible.

Today they actually published my comment! They are similar to your thoughts '67:

Was Gallen even given the opportunity to defend himself before being issued with the fine?

Was there any hearing?

Everyone has just assumed guilt. Absolutely ridiculous. This would not happen for any other type of matter.

Doesnt seem fair to me.

There was no hearing because Mickey Paea is a great man and didn’t want all the controversy. Neither Gallen nor his manager have disputed calling him a black c.... . We don’t need a hearing.

I actually sent in two comments and they decided to publish this one, because I did not go into as much depth. (The depth of my other comment significantly strengthened my argument as well)

In my opinion, his reply makes him look like a total goose.

I would like to urge everyone to only write sensible arguments on these blogs, as anything that is highly emotional will be put on there as the sole opposition, making it appear as though we are a bunch of lunatics.

PS. I don’t really live in Kogarah, but I thought it was the only possible way of being published!

Who is Phil Rothfield anyway? The head sports "journalist" (and I use that term in its loosest capacity) for The Daily Telegraph. He's the village idiot of the village of idiots. Who gives a f-ck what he or his fans think. He aligns himself with Rebecca Wilson. I'm sorry but if that doesn't absolve you of any journalistic credibility, especially where Rugby League is concerned, then nothing will.

F-ck Phil and his blog.

and in another development that comes as no suprise to me, the NRL failed to find any evidence in regard to sec toys being distributed to players, and female staff were quoted as saying they had never seen sex toys on the premises.

the journalist who made up this crap should be shot
