This guy has been an absolute shining light this season , his first full season as a starter in the hardest position . His learning curve has been huge but he has accepted every challenge full on , he has deficiencies and he has worked hard to improve them , how good will he be with this season and another off season . He needs someone alongside him to share the load , but even then he just steps up and does what needs to be done .
With him and Fitz at the club the future is bright , now time to build the team around him .
He another that is all class .

Is he an option at centre next year? He trained there last off season.

Who would we put at wing if we do ? Iro, Ika (when fit), Miller if he trains there all off season. Stonestreet is not ready but should be full time for the Jets next year.

Really starting to shine is Ronnie. Didn't rate him as one of the comps premier wingers until the back end of the season.

Now I do.

So glad we've wrapped him up for a few more.

Yep definitely one of the best wingers in the comp. Katoa not too far behind either.

I thought Ronnie was a bit harshly criticised last year. He was very well round but lacked an elite characteristic, except had a bit to much niggle.
This season he seems to have a bit better self control and is flirting with moving into elite aerial status

Ronnie has come so far this year. Stronger, faster, more agile and evasive and my word he has gotten unbelievable in the air which is something the Sharks haven't had for a while. He has gotten quite clever and skillful with the ball from hands and foot.

Best athlete in our team and been one of our best footy players this season
Our best player against Souths

perhaps, but he is one of the best wingers in the game now

i dont see the need to rob peter to feed paul when we still have talakai and ramien, or give iro a debut and a genuine shot at rookie of the year in his favoured position

Why would we move him? LOL. Why fiddle with what isnt broken? Ronnies going great on the wing, ****ing leave him there.

i get the notion, and i would happily do it if we had a winger like him to replace him

we dont

but we have a good centre rotation

leave ronnie be for the time being

that said, i named him at fullback for us next year whilst ****ing around on a podcast

Absolutely love Ronnie on the wing, but I must admit I reckon he would be good at Fullback as well. He runs the ball back well, takes the high ball well, and is a fairly good defender. Would just need some time positioning himself properly, but I reckon he could nail it. Dykes could fill in for one of the Half spots if Moylan or Nicho is injured or loses form

Ronnie doesn't strike me as a fullback tbh, not a better one than Kennedy anyway. He is becoming an elite winger, i'd rather keep him there.

Because Sharks fans think our centres are **** for some reason. Even Talakai who you could argue is just a stop gap solution has had an incredible season and been one of our best and most consistent players over the year.

Yea ok he prob isn't a long term centre but FMD what a player he has become, leaving him where he is for the time being isn't going to be a terrible thing but it's good if we are looking and considering other options too

I reckon Ronnie could go fairly well at centre, he is big enough, fast and strong enough and has decent ball skills but he is killing it on the wing now and wingers are key players these days. I would prefer it's Ronnie competiting for high balls and handling kick returns. His finishing ain't shabby either.

Ronnie could be ok at fullback, like a better Matt Wright but I would stick Dykes, Miller or even Hynes there before Ronnie

All of the above .
Ronnie could be an AWESOME Centre or fullback ( yep there too )
But would take a extremely fantastic up and coming winger option to see him move at present .
