I think he's kind of a jack of all trades player

He's very passionate, arguable too much so
His speed is okay, he's not lightning though
He's reasonably tall, but not one of the tall guys
He's no lightweight or heavyweight
He's a decent finisher
He's fairly agile
He is fairly competent under a kick

He just seems to sit somewhere around the middle for most attributes, which is okay because a lot of players are well bellow the middle in some attribute or another, but at the same time he will struggle to ever be really elite if he has no elite attributes.

I think he's fine as long as your aren't paying too much for him.

Compare to our other boy Katoa, he's pretty passive, okay speed, quite short, quite light, elite finisher, very good agility, fairly competent under a kick. He has more obvious strengths, but I think more clear weaknesses too.

Ronnie's most elite characteristic is his off-field attitude and character, beats a lot of other NRL players there, which is great but doesn't really translate on field
I swear I wrote a post just like this last year

Sure it wasn’t me?
Ronnie is a bit of an allrounder, hasn't got anything he is elite at which has been a criticism on here by some but is pretty consistent and his biggest weakness is sometimes he gets too passionate. Hopefully with maturity and experience he can get a better grip on that.

One of the things he does do that stands out at times is his hard upright running. On kick returns he has made some good busts, on early tackle hitups he has been held up and controlled in tackle, even pushed back by more set defence line / with less run up.

He loses the strong part of that at centre and likely ends up with more of the weaker part unless he changes his run style to adapt, which he may well do. But yeah, basically I think centre takes away one of his better strengths with no obvious benefit other than allowing someone else to play wing.

I could see him converting to a good centre, but it's not a move I am overly excited about or that I envisage takes him to another level.

yeah was going good
I can’t really accuse him of doing it intentionally but that elbow that came out from the diving kicker on the defender side was dangerous

Had a great first half, shame he went off. Small sample size for Ikavalu but that edge looked better with Tracey and Ronnie together.

Even his try had comedy value. From the awkward catch behind his body, to the tackler succumbing to inertia and Ronaldo's realisation that even though he was on the ground he wasn't tackled, through to the cheeky put down and the sheer joy of is celebration.

I often do wonder if you and Wizard are the same poster.

Wizard is the aggressive one

bort is the one from the little city in the big state

amazed the ref didn't f it up by deeming it tackle complete and make Ronnie go back and play the ball

I think he feeds of Tracey. They'll be a good pairing
not much meat on that Tracey fella

Least we have Ikavalu this year and dont have to stick Hiroti in the team
Tracey is back @ centre with Ikavalu outside him - should work well as he'll have Ravalawa running at him and can match his size
