Yes...tonight showed just how much we missed Ennis controlling the rucks up quick in defence cutting there think time down. He also used to have a fairly decent kicking game particular when attacking the oppos line.

Our forwards were dominated they controlled the rucks big time but cheated like buggery . the penalties seemed to be a bit lop sided we often tried to score a bit to early in the sets.

Lee could be a handy player for Newtown.. we appear to be missing a real strike centre. And Fafita is still very often a boof head.

Edrick Lee is a bloody cat. 100kg cant even make 5 metres a hit up. Val needs to be fullback, Bird cannot catch a high ball.

I feel Prior needs to play more. We look much better when he is on the field. Best tonight by far were Leutele and Bukuya. Everyone else was real average.

Poor performance but there are a lot of people going crazy here...

- Dragons flop and walking off the mark were laughable. Refs didn't make too many obvious bad calls but the game was won and lost on the Dragons getting away with stuff
- bagging Leutele is just silly. His touches Coming out of our end were quality. He shouldn't have pushed the pass which led to the Aitken try, but there were plenty of their players around who should have been able to shut that down
- Should have kicked to McDonald more often. He is dodgy under the high ball but we kept kicking to Nightingale
- the shape was much better with Val at the back
- Bradley was good. People will remember the dropped ball at the end, but he played well. That dropped ball in the first half would have been called 6more nearly every time. Bad call that one.

My feeling was the boys just wanted to get the win and go home. No real intensity. Probably feel like they can play the dragons at 60% effort and still win. And they almost did.

Dragons, especially Packer flopped all night and got away with it.

It's an aberration. We'll be up for it again next week. Hopefully Wade is fit.

Prior to season kick off I raised my concerns about our attack. Barba and Ennis were are greatest 2 attackers with try assists etc.

Ok now to combat the losses of these two players we need to sign Segayaro quick smart and Holmes needs to play fullback. I do not believe Bird has the speed and attack required for a fullback i.e Turbo, Moylan, Tedesco. He also cannot read the defence.

Parra are a weird prospect, they have no hooker for next week so I imagine they just chuck in Cody Nelson to be a tackler in the middle, which actually might suit them since that is where they got beaten against Gold Coast. We beat them in the middle easy but we need to have a fullback playing well defensively, Norman will try to kick them into it if he is fit.
