Short turn around, have the week off afterward, players returning, playing well... To say I’m not extremely keen for that would be an understatement. I’m not sure if Ennis ended up signing with them, but if he did, can he please run them out doing the Viking clap. I wouldn’t even be mad

Happy for SJ to take one more week (effectively 2 weeks) rest/ recovery and play Jnr. for this game.
Cold climate returning from a hammy is not an ideal return.
One of Feki or Grey to be relinquished of there duties with Morris coming back in and a reshuffle of outside ack positions.

Massive danger game but I really don’t rate the raiders. They haven’t beaten a top 8 team other than the knights, but they played them when they were hot garbage.

Will be a huge test but we’ve won our last 6 games in Canberra so really hoping we can continue that record. Fingers crossed we have a blinder and put 50 on them that would be nice.

They have a few injuries and we are back to pretty much full strength with SJ returning.

I’ll be out in the freezing cold Thursday night bring it on!

Prediction:

It will be cold.

And if it's not cold, it will be cold and wet

Juicey game this. Raiders seem mentally stronger than in past and playing tough against weaker teams but they havnt proved anything yet.

We have more talent overall but our wingers are a massive liability.

Won't be suprised either way. Shame not a day game

Getting wade back is perfect not so much SJ

None of we bring Katoa back?

Not sure how he's been going in Cup and he'd be in danger of being trampled by Rapana if they were lineup across from each other.
Just like Feki and Gray he is good for a mistake or two but is by far the more dynamic player.

Quick note - Katoa left the field for an HIA on the weekend and didn't return.

If they follow same concussion rules as NRL he is presumably not considered then for NRL as I think you need to pass 5 stages, each 24 hours apart.
At best I think that means he'd be passing stage 5 about 1-2 hours before our NRL game so why sweat on that when you can just use one of the two already in the side.

Katao would have to be considered an absolute ruffie for this game either way.

We're not gunna drop both Feki and Gray in the one week you wouldn't think.

Jayden out this week with a hyper extended knee apparently.

Good to see Blayke get more game time. Wonder if he'll play 80, seems like a big ask

It does seem like a big ask, especially considering he’s only been getting short stints for the most part. I think Burgess said Capewell filled in at hooker for a bit last week so he might get a another go if Blayke is struggling

Start Blayke, get Flanno on the bench and have either or both of Flanno and Chad play hooker later in the game. But only once Blayke has really been tested.

Id swap flano with Capewell for dummy half and/or if SJ has any issues.

Otherwise that’s orobably the side running out Thursday
