The missus and I met on the October long weekend, so she made it a hard rule that we always celebrate our aniversary on the GF weekend so we can go away.

So when the Sharks make the GF next year, I will be rewarding contracts to members of this forum to convincingly kidnap me. That, or tell her I rewted her best friend and tell her it was a joke a few days later from the safety of a phone.

Me and some mates drove all the way from Toowoomba to Sydney to watch the sharks final against the raiders in 2008, had a ball, went to sleep then got up and drove home again :) was worth it all to watch the sharks destroy the raiders that night

This one time I supported them for 25 years and they never won a premiership. Nothing. And for the whole time endured useless friends mocking me for supporting then.

A mate and I nearly made a fatal error by catching the train to Belmore Oval in the early nineties to watch the Sharks play the Bulldogs. We were fully decked out in our Sharks gear. Sadly we got smashed that night and I have never feared for my safety like I did when we were waiting on the train station to come home. The abuse was violent and personal. It's the only time I have been glad that the Sharks lost. I have never been to a Sharks and Dogs game since.
